@ DarrenRobinson
You promised people this morning that you would stop posting on the board, so why are you again posting??
Can you please stick to that promise from this morning? No one like to see you behaving like a child and shouting Yipppeee when the price is falling.
There is another website called twitter, not sure if you have heard of it... i think you might like it. Lots of other trolls there for you to play with.
Deal or No deal..
I say yes there will be a deal.
If there is not, Boris is gone within 12 months.
Even if you are right this share will come good in time but yeah we will both have to park our losses and tune back in 18 months and see what are we looking at then.... fingers crossed Boris does the right thing for all our sakes.
This story need to finish... its currently a real cliffhanger!!
Sorry that last message was for ElGelboy
@huldiiii
That could happen and if did it would serve him right as he is looking for a divorce and wants to keep the family home, the car, full custody of the kids and the holiday home overseas. Its not realistic to get everything you want in a divorce.
Boris is not stupid, self preservation has already kicked in. If he returns as a failure from Brussels with no deal then it is game over for him and his legacy will be stained forever as the aftermath will be irreversible.
If I was from mainland Europe and not invested in this bank they I would actually quite like that outcome. British people both citizens, colleagues and business leaders would have his head on a plate. Boris know that... and that is the main reason he will take the deal. He is just pushing them as far as he can to ensure he gets the best deal possibly.
If I've gotten this wrong then that will be my only satisfaction i will get out of this mess as it would be quite a something to watch unfold.
Am I to assume that you have already sold all your Irish bank stocks that you have or will you be disposing of same in the morning?
So am I... im in it up to my neck to be honest in both banks but im holding out for a deal.
Do what your gut tells you and if that is to sell in the morning and be safe then do it. Im not encouraging anyone to march behind me into battle.
Make your Decision and stick to it. You can always look back no matter what the outcome and remember it was the right decision at the time when you made it. If a no deal will hurt you more than you are comfortable with then think long and hard about it.
Good luck whatever you choose. Don't let greed be your downfall. Banked profits are real profits.
Good luck to all.
And off the Knight went on his white steed into the night and returned from Europe with the most coveted prize, a deal that no one else could do but Boris!
Place your bets now.... :-)
IGINVESTOR"collapse is imminent"
Are you actually for real?? so if there is no deal you honestly think this will collapse!! There will probably be a temporary reaction but there will be plenty of people looking to jump into this share as the long-term forecast is good.
Do you think people are going to stop using air travel because of a hard brexit?? Wow... glad I don't have you as an advisor.
It would be nice if this board could be kept to the subject of IAG. It is being ruined by constant childish bickering. The board itself is an excellent forum otherwise.
Gentlemen, it is ok to have different opinions. Can I ask that you please park your differences, be respectful to each other and everyone else on this board and move on from this. Otherwise move your arguments to twitter or some other platform.
This has been requested by several other members already and it is not necessary for every other person on this board to read the daily trolling of each other. Thank you.
A bird in the hand....
Congrats. Enjoy the profits.
It will be sub 2.50 in seconds if that is the case.
I personally don't believe that there will be a hard brexit.
@Castle2012 Agreed, it has held everything back for far too long. Wouldn't that be a lovely way to round off the week. Would need a breakthrough tomorrow.. progress over fishing quotas etc has been a sticky point but it will get sorted very soon imo.
1.76 would be a nice start to the morning.
Fingers crossed... hopefully some significant investment houses start to feel like the time is right for moving more funds into aviation.
A 10% jump tomorrow would be really welcome news but overall sentiment is turning positive. We need bookings... and they will come!!
Breaking the 200 mark in the near future will be a great milestone. A bottle of bubbly will have to be opened on that day.
What time frame do you predict that share price so I can put a note in my diary. :-)
Would be lovely though....
Not going to work out those figures on my calculator just yet... wouldn't like to count my chickens just yet but we can all dream while we are awake as well as in our sleep i suppose.
Ill be the one shouting Yee haw that day!!
Will not have much of an increase in the price. It won't have any significant increase in the number of passengers. Its only a small step towards more significant easing of restrictions in the not to distant future. A very small sign of the changes yet to come. Ryanair announcing the large purchase of new aircrafts is a bigger show of confidence in the future of this industry. M O'Leary no doubt got a great deal on this new fleet, I bet boeing were only delighted to get that contract signed so no doubt he used Covid to his advantage and squeezed their bits tight before putting pen to paper. Confidence is slowly coming back and the share price will rise accordingly. A speedy roll out of the vaccination in the US, UK and Europe will bring significant increases to this share. Lets just hope that we don't start hearing horror stories in the press about vaccination patients who had major reactions to the jabs. That would be a worry as the press would go wild for those stories in order to sell papers.
As a shareholder, long-term my position is to hold. There will hopefully be a long way to go yet on this one with a few bumps on the way. Good luck to all whatever you decide but Imo good things will come to those who wait.
The only other positive news not already mentioned is late December, Jan and Feb are very busy months for Aerlingus and Iberia for summer bookings. The taoiseach in Ireland yesterday gave a positive outlook to say he expects normality to return in the middle of next year where people can go on holidays as normal.
The more people start booking, the more confidence will return to the aviation industry.
@FBS I was referring to Silverhorse for his comment
"It just feels right for this to be 3 euros +++++++++++++++++"
A good trader keeps calm no matter what is going on around them. They don't post 50 times a day with wild predictions and constantly changing their opinion. His comment above sounds more lot more manic than professional.
You sound more like a gambler than a trader...
