I expect that if this does fall to the mud 140's that this will be well supported at that price. Possibly drop very temporarily to early 140's and settle in the 145 region for a little while but that price will make it very tempting for investment even with all the uncertainty. But who knows what will happen... been so much bad news lately its surely time for some good news for a change!!

@arms999 I know the feeling. Nerves got the better of me this week too. I sold at 1.58 yesterday, I was in at an average of 1.34. I always thought I would be here long term but the distinct lack of interest in Covid vaccination passports and the tightening regarding hotel quarantines just gave me a feeling that it was time for me to exit the race for a while and perhaps jump back in if the price falls back a bit. Long term this will do very well but the short term was just too uncertain for my liking. I really hope everyone here does well on this one but I have learned that I need to go with my gut from previous mistakes I have made. Governments are constantly ramming down our necks negative news surrounding travel this summer when we were all expecting to be going on a Jolly Holiday from June onwards... most governments telling us that is very unlikely now as every country is slowing rolling out vaccinations. Q3 this year looks like the earliest travel restrictions will significantly reduce and by that stage the peak season will be over... hopefully they backtrack on this and allow travel not only for this share price but for our sanity. Like everyone else here I NEED A HOLIDAY!!!!!

The lack of government interest in a Covid vaccination passport is very disappointing. It just delays the recovery of the aviation industry. I expect a dip here on this share because of it and for that reason alone, I sold my holding this morning.

I fully expect IAG to recover and this share price to rise and I will buy back in at a lower entry point, perhaps in the very near future depending on how this price goes. I do hope globally vaccination passports or approved vaccination certificates are welcomed by tourist countries as this will then put pressure on the UK to reconsider. Best of luck to everyone here, long termers will be fine.

Everyday someone posts negative news on the board, some of it correct and some of it only to serve a purpose of trying to de-ramp this share.

Yes we are in the eye of the storm at the moment with Covid-19 but clearer skys are on the horizon. Soon things will look a hell of a lot better and confidence will return to the airlines. The UK is leading the way with vaccinations but the rest of the world will catch up. This coupled with falling infection rates will change the sentiment dramatically. The pent up demand for air travel is only getting greater by the day. As soon as travel is allowed and the public feel safe to travel this airline like others will see unprecedented demand for seats. Other areas have experienced the pent up demand when their sectors opened up and were shocked by the amount of business volumes that greeted them. Airlines will see an even larger demand and they will thrive with the volumes of bookings and cash flow coming back into the system. I agree IAG is bruised and battered but make no mistake, this company will emerge from Covid-19 and will recover immensely. I for one cannot wait to book several flights to make up for lost time and like so many others who feel the same it will lead to booking sprees which are only around the corner. In 6 months time this share will look like such a bargain @ 1.50 level as it will have steadily grown over the summer months with a huge rise in late summer and Christmas bookings.

IMHO I think the current share price will seem like a bargain in 8 - 10 weeks time. I plan to top up again this week.

Just a tad inconsistent to say the least, you seem to have difficulty remembering your comments from all your different accounts.

The point people are trying to make here is that It would be better if members tried to post quality messages and not just multiple posts guessing the future S.P without having an credible reasons for their share prediction. This is what is irritating readers the most on this board.

What exact guidance are you thanking Silverhorse for? He is posting rubbish predictions that usually go spectacularly wrong and then posts the opposite later that day hoping to redeem himself. He told everyone MONTHS ago that the J&J vaccine was being approved on Fri that week when in fact if anyone bothered to fact check it they would have seen that the trial was actually only about to recommence after it was paused. It is still not approved (will be very soon hopefully). He hears whispers (aka a figment of his imagination) and is convinced he sees the future... posts data thats constantly inaccurate and when he gets called out on it he runs for cover.
