Well - send Myles round to collect copies of the AKIPUR members’ contracts and submit same to Baghdad. His forthcoming fee will be eyewatering either way - so we may as well get him doing something productive to justify it.

Great find there Schle…. but from our experiences in the region - it will remain ‘a Pipe Dream’ …. Unless a substantial allowance to cover that indemic Achilles Heal in all projects which could benefit the general population of this region - the self destructive and tribal mentality engendered need for corruption.

No foreign investment or technology required to turn dreams into reality will be forthcoming until the region is ‘cleansed’ of the usual suspects.

Our BoD still haven’t even achieved the production profiles I remember being promoted from 2015 AGM in Paris.

Nor have they demonstrated the cahunas to just stop production until the reduced/delayed and ultimately ignored invoices sent to the tribal rulers (under ostensibly illegal contracts) to boot.

Will be a fascinating presentation of ‘mind over matter’ and how they will justify their refreshed awards at the AGM.

Obviously those in charge of the country’s National assets are not getting what they want out of these greedy IOCs, and they don’t care a hoot about what this farcicle exporting delay and associated loss of National revenue costs the man in the street.

Contract: GKP went into this high risk region, took the exploration risks and the existing contract reflect this (naively assumed payments would be honoured and not delayed and pilfered off). Existing contract rules then, no discussion.

Back Payments: plus interest of course. A mandatory.

If these basics are not met, can we collectively shut our export valves they are ?

Can’t understand why Baghdad is not TELLING Erbil what the deal will be.

They are the country’s central government after all.

Must be fear of the huge financial muscle the Erbil famillies members have accumulated.

How will we handle the proposal for reinstatement of the bonuses and awards to our illustrious BoD at the AGM ? That, after all is the only achievement, and the main agenda item to be adressed during the financial year.

I suggest the awards be extended to Peel Hunt directors too, as it is actually they who have done the ‘heavy lifting’ to get the mamoth task of getting the buybacks up and running.

At last then…… seems they are close to agreeing how to divvy up the profits from exporting the people’s oil.

50% of JH’s well earned bonus is to be in shares - so someone remind the BoD not to cancel all of the buybacks as a chunk are required for his bonus.

Surely a similar award will be proposed for the rest of the key BoD too in due course ?

I say again: the lame duck buyback strategy is purely a vehicle to justify the re-instatement of the totally unjustified personal bonuses for achieving nothing to progress the company - wait and watch how this is achieved at the pending AGM.

I only hold a few hundred thousand ‘Golden Tickets’ so will not in any way be able to block this obvious self-enriching ploy… …but the interesting point is - who will be voting it through, and why ??

Our BoD will have already assumed they have done enough hard graft around this complex process to justify claiming their extra bonuses and awards which will be proposed at the forthcoming AGM.

Will be interesting to see who votes these though for them……

Nought is ‘fair’ around here - but serious Monies appear to be flowing back into Erbil - via dubious oil sales to whoever….. so why is someone not presenting them with our unpaid bills yet again (plus compounded interest - in accordance with the contract which they sometimes say we have with them?).

Don’t care if APIKUR or our BoD deliver the brown envelopes, but someone has to dare to do something constructive to earn their salaries?

A select few of the ruling families are reaping huge wealth by selling Kurd oil to whoever (probably including Iran).

This is a dangerous game as it openly defies embargo policies and doubly makes a mockery of USA taxpayers aid to Iraq.

No attempt appears to have been made by ICG to trade off Turkey’s ICC fine - via a water deal, or offsetting pipeline dues against the debt.

We can forget the debts due to us too I fear. That money will be safely and iretrievably secured in private accounts.

The only explanation here is corruption and force majeure being applied by a nucleus of fear on a grand scale.

Our debts will be roosting safely in some powerfull famillies untouchable accounts.

Stalemate then - until greed is satiated (or Byden calls ‘enough’).

A masterfull management action by our BoD, but don’t be overwhelmed just yet:

They will propose that we shareholders vote to reward them with eyewatering bonuses for this strenuous paper activity at the pending AGM.
