The stock market is a voting machine. It goes up then down. Its really nothing to look too deeply into. Buy and hold.

Not at 1.30. I would buy below £1.10 but not really on my priority list. So many great 45%-60%+ investment and trade options and house builders may lag with a recession. So the price I would like to pay of TW would be less than £1 really. GL

Big, it seems that something in the background is driving the rise across the markets. I believe earnings reporting are a major factor this week and driving the world markets up. Along with this many countries are now easing restrictions and the news on the vaccine potential is also another positive. Sentiment is returning and the markets are realising this. gl

I don't tend to buy house builders as was stung in the 2008 crash. But I think value to be had now. I like TW.

I have traded TLW and made a decent profit between March and April. Sold for now but if they drop back to the 15-17p I am trading again. And I'm in Barc as its an easy choice.

Can I ask why you are in a rush? You shouldn't be too hasty in your approach to investing and do a lot of research. Regarding HSBC, wile it is undervalued, does it provide the most upside from banking stocks and is the divi yield worth it?

I would say that IMHO Aviva is very strong buy at the moment and has a great divi which will be reinstated next year. Easy £4.00

You could look at your investment as two separate pots one that are long term and one where you trade. I would not recommend trying to trade AIM stocks but trading large companies is quite easy, especially if you are looking at making a 25% gain and keep your discipline. That 25% profit I tend to put in my LTH pot and add on any dips in these large companies. The trading pot tends to be my income and only do this if I see a great opportunity. Or think I see one I should say. Doesn't always work out but my LTH are not sold and I continue to increase and auto reinvest my divis.

What's your strategy?

Hi buddy, the market rises and falls. The majority of my holdings are large divi paying companies but currently not paying. However as I mentioned, it only gave more opportunity once announced that the divi wasn't being paid to top up. I think Disney will hit the $200+ mark within the next 2-3 years and with Disney + now challenging the market, it will add significant revenue and profit to what is already a very profitable company. I managed to get more at $92 and $96. If it does dip again I will be buying.

Text and writing on here can sometimes be misinterpreted. Hope I didn't offend. I am a long term holder and do occasionally trade, not day trading but looking for the odd 25% profit on a few stocks now and again. If you don't mind me asking, what stocks do you hold and do you diversify? I hold around 20 different stocks long term and then add the odd trade for the 25% returns which I add to my long term holdings wen the price dips.

Hi buddy, it simply means that BP will return to previous highs and have patience in your investment decision. If for example BP did cancel their divi. Would I have sold my holding today? No, I would have increased my holding on the dip in the SP. You have to take advantage of any situation with the market and your investments. If they cancelled the Divi today we could have seen £2.90 and therefore a huge opportunity to average down or enter BP. The SP will eventually return above £5+ per share and its really a no brainer. I have to laugh here. You have a bigger portfolio? Or bigger holding in BP? I didn't know we were measuring size of portfolios haha! I didn't say there was anything wrong with day trading nor spreadbetting, I merely stated that you can see who are investors, daytraders and spreadbetting from the panic in their posting. Caitlin for example, sheer panic in the posts. Relax.

are in sheer panic mode and clearly not investors. Day traders and those spreadbetting are obvious here. I am a value investor and currently hold 10200 shares with a Quarterly divi of around £800. Buy low and hold forever. GLA.
