I agree Hig, Its an open BB and the question was in relation to BP and the dividend. Rather than post negativity and question the posters intentions, provide an answer. Come on guys, we are all here to make money. GLA

You would get a quarterly divi of £531.22 paid on 19th June if you buy today.

Works out annual divi of £2124.88

10p drop in SP maybe go to 15p but no more. Especially with Crude rising like it is.

I think that with Carnival sailing again in August, many workers now starting to go back to work, (including myself) albeit with social distancing measures and copious amounts of PPE worn, human behaviour will always prevail and the fear will slowly start to fade with greed and bargain hunting for a good cruise deal too enticing. The world has taken the pause button off and pressed play. IMHO

Lets be clear. At 8am tomorrow the SP will already have dropped to the ex divi amount. Would you really chance trying to sell even if you set a target SP the order may not or most likely will not get filled and you will miss out. Buy today, get divi IMHO

Decided to add today. My average is £7.70 so not to shabby. I can see this retesting the £11 mark GLA

If you buy today or are a holder today and tomorrow you will get the divi.

And me at least 6-8 times. And that's te reason I am investing in Boeing. People will travel, airlines will need aircraft and therefore I am a buyer of Boeing. Have a look. The same way as cars, boats, aircraft will need fuel after this pandemic and hence my reason for holding BP and looking for any cheeky top ups near to the £3 mark. Good luck buddy

I have to make this clear, it will not be the fastest stock to rebound. However, I am looking at holding for 30 years plus. The world population is not going to decrease and in 30 years we will be looking at so much more aviation use than today. Boing is an incredibly robust company and propped up by the US government with constant government defence contracts. With the US being a major superpower, I cannot seeing them let Boeing fail. I like the company and at the current prices it is very undervalued and a strong buy from me. I would expect it to drop lower however and will continue to buy on the way down. GL

BP looking very strong. Added this morning and looking very good leading upto divi. I plan on selling my XOM and adding to BP once it goes ex divi. Added to my Boeing and SeaWorld holdings today.
