Who knows guys, perhaps Apollo made another approach. After all, MM told us that they get approached all the time, we only knew about Apollo because it was leaked to the media back then.

Interestingly there was a rise over the last few days before the Apollo RNS landed. That too was floating in the early 60s until it began rising and when it broke the 70s, it didn’t look back until that RNS landed at around 74p.

Just an interesting comparison because of the similarities in price. I’m not sure if there will be any significant news before the AGM, but I’d welcome it if it involves taking this private.

Let’s see how it goes. If CitySpy posts something cryptic then I must admit, I’d be more inclined to believe something is in the works.

Is he known to be a reputable source? Never been on that board before.

Of course we’re jumping to conclusions, it’s what we do.

However if you told me yesterday that MM would be posting a picture showing he’s abroad and there was a list of option - Europe, Asia, North America, Middle East, South America, Australasia.

I know which one I’d be picking. So I’d take it with a pinch of salt but it’s better than nothing.

Also, the guy lives a pretty interesting life and has seen it all and done it all.

A random picture of a gym sign is the sort of thing I would expect my Dad or my uncles to have a chuckle about and share on WhatsApp. I guess MM just found it amusing, or just wanted people to know he’s in the Middle East.

I’m sure a LinkedIn post will come about the great time he had there or perhaps a few paragraphs on how he’s inspired of seeing a gym sign in the middle of nowhere in Dubai. It’s Moulding, expect anything.

Good banter here guys. It’s all fun and games speculating why MM is out there but just imagine if he is doing a deal with QIA and letting others know indirectly by posting himself in Dubai. It would be a shrewd move.

But like with most things, it’s just us overthinking it. I should say however, very few people tend to go to the Middle East in the summer because of the dangerously, hot heat. Sometimes however, it’s necessary if you’re thinking of taking your company private and only have the summer to get things over the line.

Just a bit of fun speculation. I’m sure MM is just there to boost the sales in the ME sector ;)

Lol @all the fear mongering. Even THG was close to 30p during Christmas and people thought it would fall lower.

Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago after results that there was so much optimism? All the articles claiming Boohoo is heading back to 80p-£1. What’s changed? Just shorts doing their normal attacks.

It’s tough for every company out there and every sector is taking a battering. Just with those, you have to ride the storm. It’s criminal to have the SP at these levels and I’m certain there will be a bounce back next week. It’s just those people who sold at s loss that are the most negative. DYOR.

I’m surprised Boohoo isn’t a takeover target at these levels. Asos is getting a close look at, I’m sure Boohoo will be too.

Don’t trust the media. Just a few weeks ago, they were touting a turnaround of £1.

This is just the shorts paying the media. At 36p, this is the steal of the century. Could it go lower? Perhaps, just more opportunity to keep on loading.

Talking of shorts, interestingly, they have left this well alone. Except for Qube who we know are all algorithmic based.

Surely that’s a telling sign that they think that the mad man is up to something behind the scenes…

I don’t know how anyone read that as being a farewell to MyProtein. If anything, I read that as, MyProtein is with me until the very end, I’ll be buried with it as it’s just like another one of my babies. Possibly his proudest achievement of all!

MM is probably one of the only few people in the world that finds Adam Sandlers hilarious.

Another thing that really frustrated me about the #NoThanks message was, who are you exactly speaking for here Mouldy?

You’re not speaking for me, I’m sure he wasn’t speaking for the majority of the people here another. If Apollo did offer 2.50, I would be saying #Thankyouverymuch. Sent with a card, flowers, champagne, a basket of goodies.

So much for that motivational video he posted with clips from Wolf of Wall Street. I really wonder what others on the board secretly think about MM, his behaviour is erratic and he needs to feel the burn and anger from shareholders during the AGM. Though, let’s be honest, you don’t really know how a guy like MM would react. He’s already called out everyone he can, I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes on a rant about all shareholders soon enough too.

I still can’t get over the #NoThanks hashtag. All day, every day, each and every one of those are thinking one thing at work but we communicate things differently. We have to, it’s called professionalism.

If you reacted emotionally in every situation, you wouldn’t be in a workplace for a too long and will eventually learn the hard way. If you’re early in your career, okay, you can make some mistakes and learn from it.

But not MM, well into his 50s, his arrogance gets the better of him. Removing him as a CEO is probably not the right decision for me personally as there will be a hard reset and we’ll be looking at new lows and waiting for years to make back a return.

I do think other members of the board are considering their options with taking this private with a deal that suits the diva at the helm so he can remain in charge. If it’s not QIA then it could very well be Apollo but then that would mean goodbye to MM and I’m sure he’s smarter than that and is working on a Plan B.

Just my opinion.

I reckon they are completely correct in bringing this up. The SP has been tanking, results haven’t been great in the last few earnings, more losses, MM has insulted the shareholders on LinkedIn, yet the new CFO is getting a salary increase. All of this during a cost of living crisis which was not the case over a year ago when most investors invested into THG. Let’s not even discuss the Apollo situation.

I say keep up this heat on MM and the board. You approve these kinds of salaries and everyone else will get bumped up too. You give them an inch, they’ll take a mile. It’s all principle.
