I spent some years teaching and aware that in any one group, you would have people who struggled with the basics (and needed getting up to speed) while they may be surrounded by clever dicks who would think that everyone should know what they know - and as such make snide comments.

My last question to you was to hopefully show any clever dicks loitering around here - that you are genuine and just after some sound advice. I hope some of them come out of the woodwork and offer you it.

I think there maybe better placed people on here to offer advice on where to go for sound advice (sorry dude) .

(if this is as a personal investment and not a Company holding). with that size of investment and a three year plan for it - you do need to make use of share ISA - and before April the 5th - so that you can pop 20K in for this tax year, and post April 5th - 20K in for next tax year

other than that - id advice you do what you do best - which is take advice from many people before acting upon any one peice of advice .

That’s sounds feasible. I don’t know much at all mate, but like many on here - desperate to move on from focusing on the previous dalldrums ; so with that thought - hopeing to change the conversation on this thread to be more forward thinking and proactive , rather than past couple of months. This jump maybe the catalyst for people to be constructive .
There are a lot of experienced people on here who have invested in RR . Maybe some others reading these posts might have some other snippiest that could be peiced together to help fill in some of the gaps. RR is a bit of black box. It doesn’t have a Steve Jobs, or Elon Musk showman (which is actually reassuring considering what they produce)

If I was managing the overall project of SMR, I'd probably use the cover of the war in Ukraine (while the media is distracted) , and the threat of high power prices – to use the time to select and purchase sites for the reactors (given the Loony Left side of the Green groups and NIMBY crowds tendency to run amuck). May I add that many 'greens' have accepted Nuclear as a stepping stone - so no insult to all greens. Jame Lovelock himself eventually came round to the idea that Nuclear power was needed as a stepping stone for humanity and the environment to survive/prosper and reduce the affects of Climate change.

So the next bit of news that I’m waiting to hear (to see this price rise dramatically) – is that a site (about the size of two football pitches) – has been purchased by the crown estate. It may be virgin ground, brown field and may be via a compulsory purchase order. I cant see them being located within military barracks (even though that would offer the security need for the facilities)- the two just don’t mix well.

But I’m not managing this project – so this is only my guess

Yes he has gambled - sticking all in one basket, but I don’t think its worth being snide to a chap who is in a bad place. He wanted to learn and be reassured that his bet on RR was not gonna loose him his shirt. RR are down and we both agree they will recover. I'm more optimistic than you about it - because I believe they are where other stocks were 'this time' two years ago, I think 180 is not impossible (but think 150 on point) ,, you think 108 . I've witness stocks double, in short time lines - I’ve been trading/watching/buying selling prior to 2008, I know how to not just snide people off with single line comments and pointed remarks

and within a month have doubled from 92 to 184. you said a share can not double in a year -- this one has doubled in a month (agreed its sunk from £16 prior to a month ). If you go back and read my post to chris (who was panicking) you may note that I suggested he may not loose his money in RR and at best he MAY (only MAY) double which part of MAY is so difficult for you to get your skull around. I didn’t say RR WILL DOUBLE, just as I didn’t say RR WILL LOOSE his money. Your comforting advice, by contrast, was a snide 'should have researched better'

Do you not think I all ready know that, but when I called a charlatans for suggesting that a stock may (only MAY) double within a year, I feel that pointing out that a stock can double in less than a month is valid.

I had already screen shot your post and placed it in my RR folder.

This share jumped to 147 - just on the first major public mention of SMR last autumn. , today 91 next march 182 - not beyond the realms of possibility.
