RE: Big spikes to 95.3p and 97.5M volume!20 Apr 2022 21:35
Just a thought,
As an engineer (electronics & software dev) – if I wanted to reverse engineer a ‘black box’ or software algorithm - that I had no plans/schematics for , and on the outside looked like a chaotic system. Then I would apply different inputs and observer the outputs repeatedly, so as to slowly determine a pattern of expected behaviour – from which I might then be able to predict an outcome based on inputs – and furthermore deduce the required inputs for any required outcome to occur.
The biggest shake up to stocks, which prior to ten years ago was majority governed by computer algorithms by commercial systems and professional (predictable) traders, is the rise of the consumer investor (us). We have added an element to the stock market which wasn’t expected during the gamestop event. To try and model ‘our behaviour’ and see how it my react on any stock– then a series of probing would be needed.
