I can’t help but worry for you inky. I’ve noted from your posts that you have trouble getting along with people and also issues dealing with aspects of memory and cogitative ability. I expect when you where younger , that you were much more sharper. I worry you are showing early/mid stage dementia symptoms - you might want to go to the doctors and have them conduct a memory test on you. It is a really insipid illness that shows little by little like what your experiencing. If there is a mrs inky- she may be starting to suffer too. It often affects the couple together – due to the stress it causes, and they don’t notice each other decline. Help the Aged are useful too

I wanted the share to drop to 13p and jokingly posted that on here when it hit 92p - since I wanted to fill this years ISA allowance with shed loads of ripe RR. Shares. SAAB900 , spoted my post and was worried – thinking that 13p was a real target. I reassured the chap that I was only hoping for 13p for my ISA quota – then you started with your doom and gloom, which really spooked SAAB900. At which point I did the kind thing and pointed out that RR could double by next year. – I'm not nasty person and knew SAAB900 had 300K\+ in RR (and not on margin either).

and when you can finally bring yourself to agree that it did, then you might start to accept that a stock which has taken a big hit (like ,,ummm let me see- RR.)- may actually over a long enough time frame (1 year or so)- head back up. Indeed you said not 5 weeks agao - RR is heading the £2.

I also remember JTT pointing out to you that even Barc had nearly doubled in a year at that point in time.

Moral of the story that I learned was -never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and win through experience.

I only believe that in a year or so - things will be so much better than now (as anyone who have shares in RR must think).

The main point being (and I think, Inky fails to acknowledge with his laughter) is that RR have identified their issues and dealt with them, and had the means to deal with them - some businesses which suffered during the pandemic- had little way to escape.

Arsenail and others seem buoyant about RR future and they know more than inky as to what is occurring inside the business.

And let us not forget one of your most recent predictions, inky, - £2 !

I do still believe these could rise to £1.80 by next year - All things are aligning for good times, new MD, Debt being tackled, profits from long haul flights starting to come in, and countless other contracts. Times are looking rosy for RR,,, as ******s might say – ‘their ducks are in a row’

Those faults in the French reactors are a real cause for concern, seems Hinckley may by axed (at least for EDF). Maybe good time for some Rolls Royce SMR , I do hope Boris pushes this through before parting.
