I think within the next couple of years Nanonano. Most likely image sensors will be the first application. But you never know, I'm optimistic (deluded?)...... could we see a range of materials for a range of different applications?.... battery electrodes, wifi/5G antenna?... Apple is developing their own version of the latter inhouse I believe. Also don't forget the next generation of field effect transistors due to come to market in the not too distant future, based on nanosheets. These will not be 2d tech in the fiirst instance (based on silicon), but eventually so. However, the seeding IP is very relevant, as it enables the large-sclae production of the silicon nanosheets with uniform size/shape and that are clean/defect free.

When, if they have been, were Nanosys put on notice? We don't know. Samsung were put on formal notice re infringement roughly 12 months before the lawsuit was filed. Do Nanosys accpet or dany they are using the tech? These things take time, unfortunately.
