If you mean Axia, it was 35,343,380 shares at 9p.

Of course it's suspicious but I'm hoping that JC negotiated something special to benefit existing Cyan shareholders in lieu of holding the door open for Axia to grab 10% of our company at a discount.

Time will tell I guess.

Where does the 33m shares figure come from? I thought that the latest fundraise was based on 60m shares.

The RNS said:

*Placing of 20,204,063 new Ordinary Shares ("New Ordinary Shares")

*Subscription of 39,611,109 New Ordinary Shares.

What is the difference between 'Placing' shares and 'Subscription' shares on this occasion?

If IS were attempting to 'steal' CC's business in India and this fundraise enables JC to walk away from IS negotiations and explore business with others in India and the RoW, that would be fine with me. You've got to be able to say thanks but no thanks.

IS could always try and buy 51% of CC UK instead. If they went down that path, my x% holding would be worth a few bob by then, which is all that matters to me.
