OK i was about to go on hols however:-

With due respect and you are right to point out: - We are talking about a mill quid to the big guys between them for losing the reins (a bit I suspect.)

This deal (as reported) is somewhat less for GALP expected (maybe.)

We now have 2 Majors at our backs with a variety of committments to us.

Think back a bit and how much would you pay for unlimited resources in 2 prime areas where we just sit back and enjoy the sunshine - whether it be Africa or The Carib?

The simple facts are that broadly speaking the SP is about right for almost anything to be withstood from left field i.e. it is fairly priced for cash holdings/Major involvement etc.

It therefore follows IMO that perambulations in "NEWS" will distort things one way or another - GOOD or BAD!

My Base case is my first sentence above.

The rest will follow.

However my view based on potential is that this is too undervalued at current SP for a Spec Share.

Sounds crazy but Crypto is not a different animal which all the kids are in and recently losing their shirts on....times change..... used to be oil spec......how long B4 things move back.......who knows?

Just one other thought re management of SP: -

Virtually all of the perpetual RNSs recently are on behalf of Stifel Nicolaus who are reportedly, buying and selling stock on behalf of their "clients."

Obviously reporting movement in "their" overall holdings as Nominees etc.

Just wondered - They are CEG/SIN Brokers?

• TOTAL is in pole position v Chevron re Mopane which Sintana owns circa 4-5% of.

• TOTAL pay circa $230 mill upfront + $3 Bill cost cover for exploration.

• CHEVRON own 40% of OFF-1. Covering most costs up to and including first drill.

• Price of CEG/SIN merger circa 16p.

• Authorisation of all seismics licences etc re Uruguay approved.

Now then: -

• Why would Chevron let TOTAL grab the action?

• Why wouldn’t CHEV/TOT do a JV or have a scrap?

• What would the SP be if we have 2 MAJORS on board or scrapping.

• Why wouldn’t the merger group CEG/SIN want to protect 16p so it looks like a good deal?

Hi JBT - Many folks believe that all is above board on mkts now due to SEC/FCA/FSA (whatever the name is these days! - still the same - a bunch of underpaid civil servants attempting to beat the "smart guys" - IMO.)

But it ain't - The MMs are paid large amounts by the Whales to do their bidding. Not illegal just business as the "sleeping with the fishes guys" would say.

All I'm saying to those not aware is be aware of what goes on!

Just after about 1/2 mill of share buying at top of the mkt we get some weighted down in price to scare the crill.

Simple guys - they average the buy during the day due to their influence on the MMs.

Don't get conned!

The Whales know where this is going and sell a few cheap to subside price and sit on the bid all day and then ship 'em in later in the day at almost whatever price. They don't care as they know the price is going higher due to whatever they think they know.

Not rampish, although some would argue, just advice, it's the way it works.

Without knowing the specifics of folk's custodial arrangements: -

Broadly speaking if you own the shares then the custodian will hold them for you after a merger.

They may attribute a "sell only" tag to the holding i.e. you cannot buy any more.

That is because they are not sophisticated enough to manage international holdings, particularly in small cap companies.

Their choice and therefore caveat emptor re choice of broker.

You will own the new shares irrespective of anything cos no one can take them off you - simple.

As mentioned previously, specific to our situation there is a technical time delay re listings and that is all it can be unless as I mentioned there is a reason - like merger/takeover/JV - that is in the pipeline and this whole CEG/SIN merger is part of a bigger picture to tidy things up.

You might need to jump through a few hoops to trade the new shares but they are yours!

Sorry seems rampish but it ain't - look at the last few day's trades: -

Small sells here and there (see my comments earlier re rationale.)

The "Whales" are hoovering the crill.

Relatively large Buys and "Unknowns" cropping up.

I could go on BUT would be accused etc.

Sommat's 'appening possibly and ENI deal backs it up for me.

Additionally, vague additions in commentary about (paraphrase) "AIM is the aim to re-list with a time delay, that does not affect the deal" might IMO imply something else is in the offing.

Just thoughts - use and abuse as usual.
