What's behind the rise here this morning? Not been following this, so apologies for dropping in and asking what may be a dumb question!

BC are selling so he doesn't have to. All he needed to do was sell to them, which he has.

To point out again, they are now in the zone where we would hope to see results (they only rolled it out a couple of months ago), but wouldn't necessarily have expected to hear yet

I think it's clear GDR needed a large partner to drive sales Dave. That's what they've got now. I'd be repeating my last post if I said that large partner is now at the stage where we SHOULD see sales, but that's where it is. Too early to speculate on fundraising before we hear again from the company, but if you wanna continue banging that drum go ahead

Banging this funding drum hard now Dave, but we know that Walbrook have said there's no substance to it.

We're in the zone for sales on a lot of fronts where we were not before, so why don't we cool off and see what those results are first?

As of now rumours of placing have been confirmed as just social media chit-chat.

BC will give a hell of a lot more than a damn, they've got a collaboration here stretching back to last year, as have Cytiva who are set up for manufacturing and also contributed their own tech. The purchase of the initial samples is pretty minor compared to all the other work, time, training and collaboration that has gone into this

Yeah, if you go back through the press releases and articles it all seems to be about the automation and workflow potential with BC. There's a reason for the collaboration and that this is the only PCR they are pushing! Come on FDA!

Bringing multiple products to market with the following partners or arrangements: BC, MH, PHE, UNICEF. I refer you back to Preeftys excellent summary of the BC position and timings this morning. Meantime HCV, AIHL and military all in good positions due to DB and the company's work. I believe the rest will follow. I ain't "simping". Assuming same rate in UK population would give circa 100,000 target annually, but obviously that's a very rough calculation and not sure it tallies

Any figures for UK antibiotic use in infants anyone has seen? Found this for the US which lists 480,000 infants in the US receiving aminoglycosides annually

Well, just look at the timescale Preefty posted for a moment without knocking it. Others have posted the same to try to point out some perspective. It's no good saying 15 months when in fact we are only a couple of months since BC effectively launched the product. I'm not going to put a timescale on my investment, but equally I'm not going to be worried about BC sales right now as from what I can see we're right in the period to just let them get on with it and shouldn't expect to have heard from them quite yet.
