The £80m SQZ generates this month could be split into £50m buyback and £30m dividend quite easily showing that they are thinking about the shareholders!

Massive after hours buy, maybe better tomorrow....

SQZ issued a Corporate Update on 22nd Jan 2021 - SP was 235.50p so had a market cap of £646m. Since then SQZ have increased their cash and equivalents by ~£400m, but market cap is £769m. It must be me.
Hoping for some ground breaking news in the next Update!

By my reckoning, by the end of March SQZ will have more cash and equivalents than their Market Cap. If conservatively SQZ generates free cash of say £400m per annum, the value of the business has to be a multiple of this X4 or X5? Is it me?

Couldn't be better for SQZ, high gas prices, China relaxing COVID rules, cold weather, I absolutely follow your feelings NewKOTB, but you know what the market is like! Mitch has got to come up with reasons to support with solid proposals of how he intends to use the cash to ensure a future return: Buyback, dividend or M/A.
P.S. Whilst the SQZ prices was dropping I took advantage of a massive 8% divi from a Platinum mining company(SLP) in a similar position to SQZ; printing money but not knowing what to do with it. Might be an option for Mitch.

This useful chart says that HBR is worth 25% less than it was on Jan 1st. Linda better get a grip on selling the Company's worth starting with sorting out unwelcome stakeholders. Any way it can't get any worse for her can it?

Back to basics, how do you value a company that generates lets say modestly £45m per month, that has no debt?

Whilst it's disappointing, North Eigg could still turn out positive. In the mean time the Board has to consider how to continue holding our faith in them. A cash statement would have done this straight away, as prices will remain high for the foreseeable and shed loads of cash confirmed will please the market. I would expect an interim dividend and possible buy back scheme, unless they have some sort of M/A discussions ongoing which can be finalised now North Eigg is out of the picture.

Saw this analysis on Serica by Moram, a couple of months old now but they put a target price of 517p on SQZ. The crossroads for them is undoubtedly freeing up their cash from ever dwindling hedging commitments to then consider buybacks, extra dividends and M/As. North Eigg is pivotal for them also. Exciting days ahead!

Eni might pay $5bn for Neptune which has production capacity of 130,000 boepd, HBR has production capacity of 211,000 boepd ad a market cap of $3bn - is it me?

It's mad. ITH post a $1.4bn profit, but still have net debt $1.14bn. Market Cap is £1.82bn. EBITDAX of $1.438bn for 9 months.
HBR profit for 9 months ~$1.7bn net debt $0.5bn? Market Cap is £2.69bn. EBITDAX of ~$3.0bn for 9 months. Is it me?

I guess these high prices reflect the lack of wind recently and Europe eating into their reserves because of the colder weather.

Short position has not changed since 18th November - They would be brave to not close their positions. Another £20m changed hands after hours at these silly low prices. Approx. £25m bought back - should be interesting days ahead.

Remember nearly half of HBR's production is NG and the NBP Day ahead 318.744 p per therm which is huge and the month ahead is also 318p - happy days!

I am surprised SP hasn't moved; NBP 270p - more than doubled, colder weather imminent, performance and North Eigg update this week possibly, crazy market cap of £843m with free cash and equivalents of £600m. It's going to move....
