£483m as at the end of Sept. At £60m per month average, that's another £300m (with ever more favourable hedging positions and the beast from the east doing it's bit (and Putin)).
Looking at Hurricane's Market Cap of £154m, they have no debt and 'we forecast our year end net free cash being up to $110 million.' although they say they are relatively unaffected by the EPL. So by my reckoning SQZ is a tad undervalued to say the least.

Slight change; end of Feb we'll have more cash and equivalents than our Market Cap. If I raise £1.5bn would you guys accept my offer?

Last time we crashed out of the FTSE in June, SP bottomed out at 298p a couple of weeks after then rose to 490p by the end of August when the Gas prices went mad. Not sure what will happen this time round, but as Justme1 suggested 'The large UT volume is probably due to index funds selling/buying as FTSE index review is effective from Monday 19th' . There could be a lot of shares for sale as these funds adjust their portfolios which ain't good plus general sentiment is more recessionary for now. Having talked it down, I am hoping for the opposite! I guess my feeling towards this and SQZ currently is I am holding onto the fundamentals which remain outstanding - highly profitable, lots of free cash. Really hoping that both Boards can provide amazing incentives next month for sticking with them. As we know both SPs are priced stupidly low but investors are looking for returns and potential - come on Linda do the business!

It's down to Mitch now. He's got to convince the market that SQZ can provide an amazing return with the tools he has otherwise its curtains for this board given the unenviable situation they are in profit and cash wise.

I think its going to take a while to soak up these xmas bonus shares :(

More big off book sales by the BOD suppressing the price. Don't you love them?

Hopefully because the SP is so low, this dilution of our shares will mean a bumper dividend and a buyback scheme.

From the FCA on Block Listings:

shareholders reinvesting, and to new investors trying to acquire shares. Of course in
such situations, whilst there would potentially still be frequent allotments, there may be
fewer allotments than in the case of employee share schemes.'

If these shares have been awarded to employees, it explains some of the large transactions and downward pressure on the SP. Come on Mitch look after your shareholders!!

Am I reading this correctly, as at 24th August: Balance under scheme(s) not yet issued/allotted at end of period was 4,902,937.
Does this mean since 24th Aug, these shares have been awarded under the Employee Share Incentive Plan? if so, this could explain the shorting pressures on the SP.

Gosh - was that a buy or sell! Something is happening.

The market obviously thinks that Mitch is not going to make wise decisions as what to do with the £600m. He'll have to report something fairly significant in the January update if he's to convince us there is a return to be had here.

Even chips aren't cheap these days but shed loads of cash is!

By my reckoning SQZ are going to have one of the lowest P/E ratios in the whole of the FTSE at year end; please correct me if i've got this wrong:
P/E = Share price/EPS
= ~300p/~£250m/273m
= ~3.3
Even with a net profit of £200m the P/E is 4
BP P/E is 15
Shell P/E is 11.3

Going to become a day trader stock until Mitch pays out Divi and starts buyback.

Depending on the outcome of todays meeting, which may help towards 'valuing' SQZ and by probably writing off North Eigg and wanting to move away from North Sea, it's all set up for a merge with someone with interests elsewhere, share buybacks and handing back some cash to share holders - watch this space!
