Dizzly miserable Monday morning, the country being run by ignorant lefty (won't pay my bounce back loan) leaches via the press, quiet trading, shorters re making hay - just get ready to leap back in big time!
I'm going to love this SP when they reveal how much cash and equivalents they have and the North Eigg results. The day ahead prices are nicely up also and cold weather coming. Putin is bound to do something silly to disrupt european gas supplies just to cap it off.

Not as bad as they thought: "The fact that the GDP is shrinking is obviously not good news, however 0.2% is less bad than many economists had predicted – they thought it was going to go down by about 0.5%," Conway said.
If North Eigg is a goer, then SQZ can offset their WFT against this. More importantly as I posted yesterday:
'As at 23rd September SQZ had £482m of cash and deposits. It is not unreasonable to estimate that this will have grown to over £600m by year end, representing 70% of its current market capitalisation. Is it me or is this current SP completely bonkers?'
I reckon HBR have chosen to retain their free cash of £1.9bn and not repay the remaining debt of £900m or start the buyback because they need that cash for something. Could be something brewing. In the mean time the shorters are making hay.

Not sure whether it is a good or bad thing ITH not taking off -9%. Market has not liked the fact they have raised £288m to pay off some of its £1.23bn NET debt.
He is more likely to include electricity generators rather than extend the tax on upstream producers. Still, as you say, once North Eigg is a goer, it can be offset against that - Happy days!
