It is obviously benefitting certain directors. I think that they have feathered their nest quite nicely for the news that is on the way whilst us shareholders get forgotten about. If they don't start performing, then come AGM the pitchforks will be out. I do however think that they will re-rate this high but lets be honest it doesn't actually mean anything. I think it will be a different story once Lahtokji becomes a profitable mine. For now I'm holding off on topping off and tucking this one away and forgetting about it (otherwise I could be tempted to shed some shares)..... Still I'm viewing this one with a long term perspective and do see the value here. I understand the frustration of the longer term share holders. I was here about 10 years ago and sold up because it felt like the company wasn't making much progress. I do ask myself at what point will they pull their finger out and make decent progress. I commend those who have held for so long and are so invested in KDR. I just hope they don't continue to spout about green diamonds, this that and the other without delivering proper results.

I agree about the re-rate that will coming soon. I'd expect them to re-rate in the region of £1. They know that good news is coming and wouldn't be spending 50k if they didn't think so.

Hopefully we get decent news before AGM. The placing isn't great I agree but it may get the company where it needs to be to deliver the good news. I take it as a positive that directors are buying also. As frustrating as this is I believe that it will come good, however might just have to wait a while.

I'm not ruling out good news in the interim just yet. As frustrating as the recent news has been, I am confident we will get some good news soon. As they have pointed out the cash that has been raised will be going towards Kuhmo, Lahtojoki and NI. The frustration for me that it was done at a heavy discount.

Think this is one to just lock it away and forget about it until next year.

I plan on holding for the long term and aren't interested in day to day share price. They need funds to continue the work in Finland and Ireland. Exploration costs can't come out of thin air so this had to happen. It's a shame that it was discounted to 33%. Now they have the funds to propel the company forward for the next stages of exploration. Frustrating yes but it was inevitably going to happen. Good news will be on its way soon the key is to just keep being patient.

I also found the recent news frustrating but I'm going to keep holding for the long term. I have every confidence it will all come to fruition however it will take some time. I've locked them away and plan on forgetting about them. If SP dips then I will continue to add as there is so much value in the assets they have. Northern Ireland will be big big news when a major discovery is found everyone will want a slice of the pie.

They won't be short of interest when it comes to finding at venture partner.

I shall be taking another chunk of shares rather shortly. The market acts in mysterious ways to positive news.

Look at the longer term picture here. Even if there is a placing it is done for a reason and that is to get it to its exploration goal. Whilst there may be frustration among long term holders eventually it will pay off.

KDR is somewhat of a slow burner share. If you can focus on the end goal, forget about the day to day share price and lastly have patience. The company have incredible assets however it will take some time to get to the end goal. Lock the shares away and forget about them because the end result, in terms the value of this company will be astronomical.

I would imagine the company is playing their cards close to their chest as the Prof won't want to repeat the mistake of what happened with Conroy Petroleum, when they discovered the Galmoy mine in Kilkenny. They didn't move quickly enough to secure their land position. This resulted in Anglo American operating a major zinc mine just down the road from Galmoy.

These trades certainly are interesting - indicative of news due very soon??

Anyone that is selling is crazy. News is imminent on a few fronts. Only a matter of time before they hit the motherload in NI.

If this is the case they will get it at a discounted price if they are funding exploration. Question is how much of a discount?

If they have partners funding the bigger projects how much will KDR retain as a percentage? Would it be better for them to explore alone and then put the for sale sign up when all is confirmed?

I believe that would value the company around a £1.4 billion pound market cap. I agree that may sound absurd to people but I would also say that if we have what I think we have it could be worth an astronomical amount. I do wonder with KDR being an exploratory rather than mining company whether they are trying coincide their projects for a sale. The exeption here may be Lahtojoki where they will partner with a junior mining company that will generate profits for the company to cover the costs that will be incurred with exploring Finland and Ireland. Then again it could be the case that they already have partners funding the bigger projects?

So, if KDR puts the for sale sign up does anybody want to hazard a guess at the price per share?

Yes when you join the dots it starts to make sense. I really thought there would be news this week but maybe next week? Or it may not even be until November.
