Possible Bermuda ... a Lot of work is being done in this area, if something potentially enters trials as a late stage treatment ie as an infusion product .. like you would use Keytruda ... then a Mab could be enhanced with High avidity ..but you don't need the killing ability of Avidmab as the virus is dead until it enters a cell, so you only need to neutralise but of course that is a consequence of vaccination anyway .. and a T cell can still target that protein even thou its covered in these sugars
Glycoproteins are proteins that have sugars attached to them. They do many important jobs for the body, such as helping the immune, digestive, and reproductive systems.
Glycans are essential to virtually every biological process in the body. These complex structures -- composed of interlocking sugar molecules -- adorn the surfaces of cells in fuzzy profusion. Glycans are a crucial part of a cell's identity, helping it communicate with other cells and with the external environment.
so the S spike is a glycoprotein
we are walking chemistry sets ....... amazing how its all developed ..
Viruses did not evolve first, they found. Instead, viruses and bacteria both descended from an ancient cellular life form. But while – like humans – bacteria evolved to become more complex, viruses became simpler.19 Oct 2015
