The last time I did it was buying into GGP at 3p in March last year.

Yes, I have noticed the peculiar silence which has fallen upon bsg. As a rule, I don't take pleasure in the misfortunes of others; but I must confess I'm delighted to see his predictions of doom proved so thoroughly wrong.

The mistake he made was not to realise that this is now a new company, trading under the old name.

It's guesswork; depends on drilling results and company decisions on joint ventures, disposal of assets, etc. But 2p by Christmas is my guess.

The slight decline in the share price is annoying, but nothing more than that. Masks, Dr and others are doing a good job of reminding us why we are here. There's nothing to worry about, and we're lucky to be shareholders.

This billboard is very good-humoured and cheerful at the moment. Unfortunately, it won't last. When the share-price takes off, the malicious and the mentally deranged will arrive in squadrons. I've seen it happen in GGP; it's going to happen here. The conversation will be much worse; but perhaps we will find some comfort in the thought that we are now very rich.

I had a slight top-up today. Tried to buy £12,000; not possible, had to divide it into two orders, one at 0.89, the other at 0.9. These algorithms are clever; they automatically increase the price, if they know you want it. Like the worst kind of harlot (though of course I don't know any).

You're right. The news flow over the last few months has been remarkably good: government grants, drilling results at Alford East, sale of Pilot Mountain, resignation of Billing, appointment of Potter as chairman. The only piece of supposedly bad news was the share placing; but I think we will not see so many of those in the future.

The company has been transformed from what it was a year ago; and although Potter doesn't yet own many shares himself, Artemis does. And he's not going to want Artemis to lose money. I also wonder if Metal Tiger (of which he is the chief investment officer) may now move back in.

This is a moment each of us will look back on, and say, "I was there. Whether by chance or by skill may be disputed; but I was there, at the right time, and in the right place."

It's PI's. Any company buying was done on the fund-raise. Paul Johnson won't be buying today; if interested, he will already have done so. Ditto any friends of Potter.

This is definitely good news for the company; and confirms my belief that he masterminded Nicole's appointment, and Billing's exit, and probably the sale of Pilot Mountain, too.

He and Nicole should make a good team, combining finance and geology. I can say quite sincerely that this company has an excellent future before it. I bought 13 million slightly earlier than I should have; but now feel pleased to have done so.

My guess is that the US uranium/vanadium project will be sold (like Pilot Mountain), in order to finance the development of the Australian projects. We need to look at it from the viewpoint of Nicole and the new exploration manager, Wittwer. They're both Australian, and want to manage projects, which they can visit and inspect easily, and which belong to their home country. Who can blame them?

The Thor website has been updated, so that Billing has been removed, and Nicole now has pride of place, as managing director. After her, come the two non-execs. Normal practice would surely be to place them in alphabetical order; but this has not been done. Potter comes before McGeough. Why? Because he's more important. In my view, he has shaped the transformation of the company into something that can make money (for us and for Artemis, of which he is chairman).

The missing director is the chairman, who has yet to be appointed. We await with interest to see who it will be.

This discussion reminds me of the GGP board about eighteen months ago. I know nothing about gold mining or geology; but hope the share price can stop behaving like a yo-yo, and establish a steady rise.

Things will get better. The company's clearly in a process of transition, and I think Nicole is a good CEO or MD, and will see us right in the near future.

A news spike that peaks at just after 8 o'clock is unusual; the top is normally at mid-day or later. I was walking to work through the countryside at the time; but wouldn't have sold anyhow.

Good to see this going in the right direction again. The fall into the teens was always overdone, in my view.
