Cash looks like to be completely gone now. Next week could be its last week of trading. Suspension now almost a certainty. Avani got the assets locked up as a covered creditor. Nothing left for the shareholder and it will not see out the rest of the Month. There is a lesson in all of this. When the cycle moves against you there is nothing you can do. It was clear they were doing deals at a lower cost than it was spending on production. Was always going to end in tears. Its clear why the boss left some time back. That was the sign to exit. With a market cap of £26 million and a Pension scheme deficit remaining at £35 million, there is not business here. It seems to have burn through any cash pile it has and now needs funding. With interest payments of 19% on its loan facilities and 14.7 million debt with declining sales this is now close to the end for Mothercare. Looks like £14 million of cash held has vanished into thin air over the year. Who will lend to this? Share issue at 2.0 pence and or below. But how long will that cash last if it could fundraise. Its going under an surely administrators could be called in?

It cannot survive and surely there is little value left for the shareholder as it faces Wipeout. Heavily discounted fundraise is surely on its way, that is if it can find a funder at all.

I know Mike Ashely likes to build up stakes in various companies, however something tells me he wants to take-out Boo entirely and absorb it into his many companies. Shorter's better get out just in case or it will cost them.

Seen these type of RNS all the time. It pulls in punters all the time, them not realising who it is that fundraise these kind of things. Very easy to get geologists to play with stone and pay them. Riverfort seems to be a specialist in giving loans then converting those loans at lower and lower prices. This seems the essence of a downward spiral and this company no doubts makes money even though supposedly they do not short. In this case they are locked up for a time. Not sure what Rivfort is up to. What I do know most of what they get involved with is company`s that have a downward spiral. Yet they benefit. AVOID any company they are financing or hold shares in. I saw this one coming when the price was double this and I suggest it was a sell, and hinted at Riverfort doing a usual diluting everyone. This place is a cesspit. DO NOT AVERAGE DOWN IN A DEATH SPIRAL. YOU COULD LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY.
