Yes that is gross and the net price will be lower. That rate of 55 usd has been around for about a month .. i would say it is more like 59 usd which is all the better for all oilies. goldline, that is good info but on the 19th Feb they said the announcement will be in two weeks and that runs out this friday. I certainly hope it is really good news after leaving the market waiting. In my own mind this is a very good buy but always do your own research.

maxim .. have you been copying across info from the ADVFN site ? As far as i can see the price of crude oil per barrel is currently 64.48 USD and have been over 60 dollars for a while. Even better news for all oilies so its a good job i have CHP shares :-)

QXL :- This share makes me physically sick. I bought in these in spring 2003. The price was around 3p .. i bought more as they dropped and dropped which eventually went down to around 0.5p. I had 75,000 of these shares. There was then a share dilution of 1,000 to 1, as i remember at the time all people with shares of less than 1,000 did not even earn 1 share and i can't remember how they worked it out. After the dillution i was left with 75 shares and was forced to sell for around £75 and then 1 month later they jumped to £8 a share ... those 75 shares would now have been worth £8,782. Oh if only i had sold my body for £75 in 2004 instead of selling these shares. The stock market is very cruel indead but it just shows that a huge loss can become a huge gain within 2 years, just gotta never give up.

4pm here is 11am in Columbia and i can't see any official making a statement, or even getting out of bed, before midday. Am i wrong ? Are we waiting for a col. gov. announcement or a chp one ?

I still can't believe the valuations on this one. I was reading on the ADVFCN site last night where some people had been working it out. Just the assets of CHP work out at a share price of 18.4p. And if you add on the expected flow from the other areas, agreements willing, it adds another 220p per share to this value. I see quite a few small buys on this one, one at 224 shares, a value of £37.86 ! Are people emptying thier piggy banks to get on this one ??

Is this the day of the announcement ? Some guy on ADVFN said he had a dream the announcement would be tomorrow ? Oh well .. hope it comes soon and is good .. the wait is killing me !!

2 large buys a second apart at way above the offer price. I am hoping this is someone in the know getting in on the action. I still have a warm feeling about this one even though i have been called suicidal and i bought in again at 4.7p today. All in my opinion and do your own research.

Wow share of the decade ? I have no idea about this one. I can only see a BUY today of 12,294 about 15 mins after the huge leap. There were certainly no buys to cause this ... was the share diluted by a factor of 7 ? Who knows

Any idea when the agreement will be reached over the field that everyone is waiting for ? I have heard varying dates .. most were for friday - monday night just gone.

Sorry to all those who lost money on this one. The last thing you need is some mouthy little nobody like mussy rubbing your nose in it. I hope things pick up for this one for all those who have lost money but it is not looking good.

This share is still like a rollercoaster between 16 - 18p waiting for the news on Columbia. I Have bought in 3 times when it dropped to the low 16p's so the only choice i have to hold and hope for a good decision. IF i was in your shoes i would play it differently. I would sell the amount of shares you bought at 8p, that is a very nice 112% profit and i would hold the ones you bought at 12p and 17p. My reasoning ? Say IF the news comes through and it is what is hoped for and expected - your shares at 12 and 17p will both become nice profit. IF the news is No, which is unlikely but still possible, it may drop to 12p or lower, in that case you will be neutral on your 12p shares and a loss on your 17p shares which should be covered by the 8p shares you sold (depending on amounts bought) .. so a part sell and a part hold and you are pretty much covered. This is all my own opinion and please do your own research . blah blah etc etc.

I haven't been in this share long but there seems to be a rebound point at 16p .. dropped below that a few times then bounced back. I am hoping that is stays that way till good news arrives SOON .... pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. Any ideas on when that may be ?? All constructive comments welcome !!

ROSH1976 ... ever heard of something called " Ramping " ? The posts i have seen from you seem to be comments based on very little fact all with a BUY slapped all over them. Best to put " In my opinion " or something simular ... and if you have a good tip ... pleaseee back it up with some facts and not guesses at what may be happening.

Those odds sound fine to me. I feel IF all goes as plans and the 75% option happens soon it will go slightly higher than 35p but it's all good either way. This is all in my own opinion and do your own research.

Thanks for the info. As far as i can see every share is a risk but some are riskier than others. So you are saying this company is a fairly stable risk ? Have you heard about the company FAO ? If so what do you think ? Would be great to see the kind of figures you started as estimates. Good luck to all who have shares in this one and i hope the risk pays off even the ones with the " smart " money who came in at 4- 5p ;-)

ULT i feel the effect was factored in a week building up to it ... the price should steady off now and steady rise to next results ? All in my own mind .. anymore views ???

I am pretty new to all this, tried dabbling in the stock market a few years ago and it all went very wrong, so i have a question for people more in the know on here. What price is this share likely to be if the news is good ? I have heard this share is undervalued with or without the very good news. I have seen a good calculation on this site putting the share price at 220p or above and mention in the paper at the 200p mark. if that it is the case why is it at such a low level ? An eleven fold increase in the share price to put it at the 200p would be great but i just can't see it. What are other peoples views ? What do others feel the price will be if the good rumours about this company are true ? I have a good feeling about this company even if i didn't buy when the " smart " money bought at 4 - 5p.
