MDY :- From big worry to big smile in 2 days. I was starting to get seriously worried about this one but i still topped up at 5p two days ago ... glad i did. Thought there may be a drop today so i set another buy target at 5.7p and it has flown upwards. Steve, some of the buys MAY have been sells, this site is NOT accurate as far as buys and sells. Up 30% in 2 days ... don't look for the logic ... enjoy the firework display !!!

CHP :- These daily rises and falls are just share volatility at the moment ... unless there are significant rises or falls - rise about 17p and fall - below 15p ... then nothing is out of the ordinary. Please stop reading into the daily rises and falls that will mean nothing when the announcement is made one way or the other.

MDY :- This is MUCH better. Upward pressure at last ... i did sense that 5p was the bottom - and i managed to get a buy at exactly 5p a few days back. Will now sit on those shares and wait for news.

I was thinking that when i was typing it out. It's a shame that these boards are being used to throw insults around, like on advfn and sharecrazy, instead of giving people good advice and food for thought.

CHP :- I have decided that these shares will be mid - long term shares. I have done my dabbling to get the price down a little while i could. IF they get the agreement and then start pumping oil the share price should rocket. i intend to hold mine for at least 6 months, maybe more, will have to see how it goes. Hope all goes well for all holders of CHP. P.S. There was something about a clerical error on the licence application and that it has been redone and is simply waiting being signed off at the ANH meeting on thursday. Not sure if this is true, or even where the person on advfn.com got the information - but interesting all the same.

CHP :- I get your point on the opinion thing so i no longer have an opinion on this share TILL something happens. You say that no one in thier right mind will sell on friday ? If you look the end price on the 13th March was 17.25p which dropped to 16.25p on the 14th March (the date before the supposed announcement which never was), So does that mean that the market was not confident of the licence being granted OR word leaked out that it would be delayed. WHEN it was delayed the price dropped below 15p. So this has already been played out before, and if we are to guage the markets thoughts of if the licence will be granted, you could draw the conclusion that it is as unsure as the rest of us. Some people are expecting an announcement this friday, when or IF it doesn't come, i feel there will be another drop to around 15p or below. My comments were on the " dry run " of the announcement coming out last week. feel free to draw your own conclusions.

CHP :- By NOT sitting put and selling at 16.50p yesterday and buying back in at 15.8p i saved a few hundred on my investment on this share. I just FEEL there may be a drop on friday but i am not staying put happy with my decision yesterday. I am not sure how i was finessing anything ?

CHP :- at the moment there is resistance at the 15.75p level as seen today but i still feel there will be a drop down to the low 15's on friday if there is no announcement (buti don't have the nerves to take that chance). Even though CHP have stated that it may take till the end of the month some seem to think there will be an announcement on friday after the ANH meeting on thursday. I hope they are right but i can't see it. As we have seen - Columbians are hardly speedy with paperwork !!!

CHP :- I managed to buy all mine back in at 15.8p, my nerves couldn't hold out much longer and there is a LOT more resistance below 16p than there was a week ago. I called HSBC in the end and even though thier buy rate is still at 16p i got in lower. I called up and complained thier buy rate was too high. I got put through to another guy, did say who he was but i forgot, he told me that as i had a buy order in the system at 15.75p he would call and see if he could get that put through. He then told me that the last buy was at 15.8p so 15.75p was unlikely, i told him i would accept a buy price of 15.8p and it was accepted. My point - Why is there a gap in the internet/phone price and what you can truely get it for if you bitch like mad ? Of course all of this will be immaterial if CHP don't get the licence and it bombs down to 12p or less. But at the moment i am happy taking my average from 16.48p on all shares down to 15.8p. Good luck all who hold CHP ... i don't have the nerve to sell and hope to get in cheaper so i am in for the ride now. if not in then do your research and buy under 16p ... if you are in HOLD !! All my own opinion and always do your own research on sites like www.oilbarrel.com and www.rigzone.com :-)

CHP :- I think you timed it just right. I tired to buy back in at 15.75p when the share price was 15.38p but HSBC was still saying the buy in was 16 so i left a buy order at 15.75p. I bought in CHP after the two rises so i first averaged at 16.75p ... buying more at 15.30p managed to get that down to 16.48p. So i decided to sell all yesterday at 16.50p and buy back in below 16p ... hasn't quite worked yet. I understand what you mean by your comment as " safe " as there is no guarentee that the licence will be give but as far as buying back in at a good price before the announcement i feel you have done well. I feel if there is no announcement on friday, day after the ANH meeting, as a lot seem to expect there MAY be a drop down to the low 15p's but i would not be brave enough to gamble on that.

MDY :- Ok call me a muppet but even after nearly 30% being wiped off the share price i STILL have faith in this share. No share can go up all the time and there was a simular, if not as extreme, drop in the middle of Feb and then a nice rise. I am not as expecting a rise as large as that but the next bit of good news may push this up to the 9p+ area. Any views on this ? Am i a madman ?

CHP :- If you want to slag people off go to sites like sharecrazy.com where it is a regular event. amb33, what is more important to you, share information or the chance to slam someone for nothing ?

I must say i am mystified by all this VOG talk ... the share has gone up 500% within a few months, how can you think that it has more of a chance for short term gain than CHP with a very important annoucement due SOMETIME. By the way, the ANH meeting is on Thursday and it seems a LOT of peopleon other boards think an announcement will be due the day after. I can not see that myself, so if there is no news on friday, will it drop back to 15p again ? CHP said the end of the month ... that is one week on from next friday. What are other peoples thoughts ?

VOG ??? Someone just bought 600K Vog shares @ 4.25p each. Show me where i can buy then for that and i will buy a few million !!!! LOL

CHP - The rose tinted specs ? ;-) I do not feel this is buying ready for the licence agreement i feel it is just the natural fluctuation of this share. I feel it may hit bottom ( 15p ) a few times between now and the end of the month. I may be wrong and i hope i am, especially in the case of ULT :-).

CHP Lots of buys again today - looking at the chart 15 - 15.1p seems to be the bottom limit. Any ideas on the top during this time of waiting ?
