Let me clear up some calculation errors you made. First of all UGY have hedged 70% of their production but the 63,000 ounces is the full year and not the 70%. They hedged 45,000 ounces at $796.25 per ounce (wish it was £800 as you mentioned) which at current exchange rates is £19.9m. Let's assume they manage the same about for the other 30% ... so that gives production of £28.4m. The current market cap is £31.63m (not sure where you thought £67m was less than half of the market cap) So yearly production, with 70% of it "protected" is not much less than the current market cap. Bargain if you ask me.

Yup 120p and beyond would be great. I am starting to see when shares begin to turn around after big drops .. bought DGO at 276p and BLVN at 170p last week so doing so well so far with this spreadbetting. If it rises tomorrow i think i may increase the size of the spreadbet by adding another. Have to see Regards IHNC

Was just messing around. I thought today "if only it can hold on to even the small blue then it will be the first time it has since it was 120p" ... and towards the end it drops into the red LOL Oh well... I think with more and more people noticing how cheap it is, and possible bid territory, then this area will mark the bottom anyhow. I have noticed the 8 Transaction in own shares RNS's over the year... so far they have brought back 274k shares for C$ 816,247 ... which does seem a bit of a waste when you consider that is only 0.5% of it's share allocation. Much better to spend it on exploration or acquisitions IMHO

So you think a drop of 4,400 ounces of gold ( approx £1.97m) that is now sorted is to blame for £37m being wiped off the market cap ? hmmmm

UGY does interest me but not MDC ... too small. With UGY producing what they are against the market cap then it makes for a very good bet IMHO

Well over on the ADVFN board they are having a party. Not sure i am as bullish as some with the target price but onve the weaker holders and traders have sold i feel there will be even more gain today.

As mentioned this must be down to either a fear of a placing or an actual placing taking place at 1p for $400k for Silver mine. They needed it by year end .. of course they could have waited but what the hell ... All IMHO Regards IHNC Bought another 130k at 1.2p .. wasn't quick enough for cheaper.

Gold prices and CMR, the gold price obviously does affect CMR but not as some as some gold producers (If and when CMR get around to production) as they plan to that revenue will repay costs in 6 months ... compared to a company like GAL whos mine will take 2.7 years. CMR's feasibility study on Quintana is on a gold rate of $600 an ounce ... so $800 represents an extra 33% on top of the bottom limit.

That is exactly why people are selling .. they do not believe CMR will be producing in Q4. Technically there has been delays as in february they did say they would be producing in 6 months so it has been put back. The selling could also be manipulation by RAB .. whenever they are in a share with a low market cap you do get manipulation. Also people could be selling as CMR still need to raise another £400k by the year end. Of course we would all love them to start producing then get a loan based on that but i am willing to bet they will take out another placing at this low level, or slightly below, hence the selling. I have been buying RVD and CAN as they are at low levels and are actually producing and both trying to ramp up production so if CMR do fail then RVD (for today at least - tomorrow it will be VGM) and CAN will take the slack. It is a shame i did not wait longer to buy CMR as i could of bought in 25% less but averaging 2p on 600k does not bother me that much. IF CMR do start producing then there will really be an uplift and i bet we see RAB buying after thier selling a while back. All IMHO Regards IHNC

It would be great if some of you read RNS's issued by the company ... 15th July "Future Reporting: It is the intention of the Board to now report mine production within 30 days from the end of each Quarter. " So why on earth did you expect an RNS on gold pour at the AGM ? And as i mentioned, a company HAS to release price sensitive information before an AGM, so it was obvious this morning there would be no price sensitive information released. What i would like to see an RNS on is that the following issue is now fully resolved "Due to power restrictions associated with the power station refurbishment, as outlined above, underground mining has been limited to only one of three shifts per day. The recent commissioning of ESL1 has allowed management to move operations to a two-shift basis thereby doubling underground working hours. These plans are currently being implemented." There was also mention of the power being upgraded to allow full production so an RNS saying full production has now been reached would be very much appreciated.

IF RVD had any price sensitive information they HAVE to release it in an RNS BEFORE the AGM. It's as simple as that ....

Current production is over 4,000 ounces a month... even at current prices of $810 that is over $3 million a month revenue ... so where do you get the idea that they will be unable to pay wages at the mine ? Talk about deramping rubbish ... I bought in as i have shares in CMR which hopefully are close to production to balance off the risk there with this one that is producing .... i am of the opinion that gold prices will rise to $2 - 2.5k next year to even get close to the oil leap. I topped up a bit more this morning ay 1.7p ... showed as a sell
