That's just it .... they are not increasing production, they have actually decreased it due to dwindling resources to mine, hence the drop. They have an exploration update out in April which is CRITICAL for this company as reserves means they can increase production again and the price will get back closer to normal levels.
I feel a shrew operator knows this and has jumped in with a low bid before the exploration update so to get UGY on the cheap. Like i said, at 63p this was muted as a takeover target but it has been hammered so i do not feel the offer will be north of 50p. Hopefully other will get involved and a bidding war will kick off the SP. It has the whiff of death about it at the moment hence the muted responce to takeover news.
