sb100000, seems like they did it for that reason. Even slight pressure of locking up your shares will be multiplied if there is a short squeeze.

You can keep resetting your sell order as long as it doesn't hit it of course. So every day put it 25% higher ?

Your shares can be used to short with if you haven't got them locked with a sell order. Simply put a order to sell at a price far higher than todays price and then they will be unusable :)
