My opinion (I am aware of the irony) is that people should hold off on opinions until we see the JV details, which should be made available to shareholders very soon. A generic suggesion of a discounted placing in a suspended share is (in theory and IMO) wide of the mark... it can't be flipped for profit- the share would open too near the placing price unless the discount was MASSIVE and....IMO... given the JV partners, I consider that very unlikely. BUT..... it's AIM. Let's wait and see what the details are. :)

True. Whatever the plan is, it needs to be big and solid. People with deeper pockets than me think it's a good place for their money. The reasons for my buying haven't been undermined, my only hindsight regret is the timing of it :p (Mr idea, though technically irrelevant, just another anonymous poster on a BB) :)

Morning all :) Thought i'd post after reading the post from 2seabass. Cascade have a clause that says they maintain their % despite any dilutive events. So (in theory) they don't care about a placing (discounted or premium) as they get more shares regardless.

I agree, Shylock. Surprised at the %'s, but these holders have stuck with the SP as it's dropped and still voted they way they did. That says something to me! I will try to juggle some money to buy more shares before delisting.

Why put forward the idea if they didn't think they'd get it? They'd look a bit daft if the shareholders "turn against them." (IMO, that does need pointed out, though I am also against delisting)

Major shareholders will have already made up their minds for their own financial ends ;)

Someone was touring other LSE boards today trying to hype ELA. They now appear to have had ALL their posts removed. Crazygolfer.... please explain how this looks hot? How many trades have popped up today and what volume do they represent Vs ELA's MCAP? There does't appear to be anything wrong with ELA from a quick look...apart from the stench of ramping hype.

Spread will put off the day traders, which is not a surprise. Should have been done for 8am IMO. Ask was at 0.4 for a bit.... let's see what happens this afternoon :)

If it was a leaky ship and accurate info, people would be jumping in for quick money. Also, that's pretty major news, it would have to be released in an RNS.

The thing I like most about the prediction/opinion/hope/whatever of a 10p offer from the company is that it *should* be immune to MM games and won't be "fastest finger first." For that luxery alone, I would be ok with less :D

Are you hoping that the SP will be made by the company explicitly, or from them buying "at all costs" on the last day? If the herd thought that there was an "official" 10p in this, they would mostly be here by now.

Volume (IMO) says it's not a P&D. No concerted effort. Less than £10K bought (if buys and sells are accurate) (lol at that idea)
