We were all waiting to see what happened with the share price this morning given the last minute almost £1 buy at close of play Friday.

So today I'm seeing 'claims' that Credit Suisse has bought in - then others saying Sprott ETF fund.

Are these rumours or can we say factually who bought in on Friday?

Just bought 5k at 9.25 - had to keep refreshing to FINALLY get a quote!

Sorry newbie questions here, obviously the share price has caught up with all the news hence the 9p price, but am I correct that GGP own 100% of Scallywag and another called Goliath?

Is any of the potential in the current price given we don't know if there is gold there and if so of what quality?

Or is there some potential built into the current price given it is in an area which has yielded amazing results?

Thinking as soon as news is out on the test it is time to load up big time? I'm heavily in here and happy so far but can't justify any more until Cytiva news - price will tank or rocket.

Although risk of a spike on buying on open - surely the news (if positive) is so far reaching it will be like surfing a wave as more and more press picks up on the potential. Surely scope for a quick trading win and then maybe keep the original batch for long-term gains?

I am invested and obviously very excited for the week to come, I'm just wondering if anyone on this board who is technical or in the healthcare industry fully understands or has researched other pharma companies as naturally everyone is in a race to develop solutions to the pandemic.

I see on other boards lots of talk about ODX and especially now, GDR who also have a tie-in with Cytiva, so we are not the only horses in this race!

Are we still out in the lead with a furlong to go or are there others catching us up to pip us at the post!?

I totally agree Minesinthemine - the covid19 angle is just one of many. What I like about Myles McNulty's comments are that he is not just focused on the coronavirus test. He sees really good potential here in many different areas.

As investors we should be focused on the long term possibilities just in case the covid19 tests do not get approval or happen for whatever reason (that is a possibility).

Surely some people here get the Sunday Mail? Really surprised nobody is mentioning the front page headline. They seem to be suggesting a government backed consortium have developed the test Avacta is going for and could beat us to the punch?

This does worry me, have I got cause for concern or am I misunderstanding. I'm now also wondering if there are many companies in Asia who are also surely developing similar tests to Avacta - and we just are not going to be aware of these for language reasons.

I think Avacta are going places with their cancer potential but clearly a huge part of the price now is the race for a covid-19 test so we do have to be careful I think.

Thinking of buying in, but concerned about the news coming on Thursday because reading the comments the impression is either share price moves up big time or tanks (risky) - but why?

I thought some comments seem to suggest they have already discovered a great gold find + other minerals - so what's the problem/downside?

Trying to establish the risk here and if the news disappoints, what that might mean the price goes down to again?

Presumably it could go up again later, if they actually have discovered real gold. Perhaps just it will take longer to get to the point of mining and processing and realising the profits.

For the first time (that I've noticed anyway) - the sell and buy is close together - 91p sell 92p - usually the spread is further apart.

Any significance and can anyone explain this to me?

I'm just thinking that if the covid-19 angle does not pan out (at the moment it is all potential) then at least if the company have more 'irons in the fire' then that is reassuring for the share price. I'm happy about the non-invasive cancer potential part of the business.

Yes I have bookmarked richken and myles mcnulty but they are quite new investors, any old-hands left from say 2019 times who are well-informed having been with this for some time??

Yesterday someone was saying there are some level-headed respected posters here who have followed this long-term (when it wasn't all about the coronavirus potential). Who are the best people to read posts from? I'm struggling to find helpful info now with so many pointless posts.
