As for the earlier poster on Santos and Helium, off the mark, the East Complex at DARWIN, was initially built by Woodside for Timor Sea ops, stymied by

the TL Government, Santos and its partners ENI/Korean noc, moved in for Bayu Undan, which had a Helium content of 0.1%. World leader Linde then

built a Helium processing site, next door at Darwin East, run by its subsid BOC. At the time and until very recently, was the ONLY Helium plant in Australia

If Santos want to take the Amadeus resources to Darwin, it already has a Helium plant on site. Which previously worked way under capacity, Bayu 0.1%

and profitable, Amadeus Mt Kitty about 100 times the Helium

Preparations work, once started (RNA can not start until drill permit given) would take up to 50 days, to be drill ready.

The scoping study evaluates the potential commercial development of the Hussar and Mt Winter projects in Western Australia and the Northern Territory respectively, outlining key economic parameters, sensitivities, and strategic implications.

Highlights

· Confirmed viability: The study confirms the potential for a commercial gas field development at Hussar, capable of producing helium, hydrogen, LNG, and argon.

· Strong financials: A 40MMscfd raw gas flow scenario generates an IRR of 27.3% and an NPV of US$1.64 billion (10% discount rate).

· Revenue potential: Pre-tax profits estimated between US$7.3 million to US$208 million per annum, depending on production rates and gas prices.

· Ongoing discussions: Georgina executives are currently in London engaging with potential offtake partners.

Project Overview and Offtake Agreement

Georgina has in place a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Harlequin Energy Ltd, a UK registered special purpose company, to facilitate the sale of helium, hydrogen and natural gas from its 100% owned Hussar and Mt Winter projects.

The FCA has 2 and 4 months for reports, the rest of the world appears to be and use its 6 months allowance with C.H.

The FCA entry is old, so not sure if they should also be in line with the Market and Companies House references (not updated ?)

1.4 Restrictions on changing the ARD

Currently, you can change an ARD by shortening an accounting reference period as often as you like, and by as many months as you like.

There are restrictions on extending accounting reference periods. You cannot extend a period so that it lasts more than 18 months from the start date of the accounting period (unless the company is in administration).

As for getting out the 2025 Annual, they have 6 months, so up to the end of March, they might also give themselves some breathing space, by changing the companies accounting dates. Been in a few who have done so, moving to Annual being the year of reporting Jan-Dec, with an earlier or later extended period to bring it in line.

So 2025 Annual could become an extended 15 month period ending 31st December, with the new accounting year being an actual year, with H1/2 and Q's all within it. BUT, that would involve more time consuming admin and faffing about with the authorities.

Antimony is classified as a critical mineral in the US.

Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa could each see nuclear energy account for up to 30% of total electricity supply by 2050, while nuclear energy could represent 24% of Rwanda’s power generation mix by the same year, said the report by The Rockefeller Foundation. The philanthropic group surveyed eight emerging economies including Brazil, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. More investments in nuclear power could see each country’s electricity generation costs fall by at least 13%, compared with only relying on renewable sources, the report said.

The cabinet of South Africa will be requested to support the reopening of the PBMR centre at Pelindaba, with a view to integrating nuclear into the broader energy mix and rebuilding South Africa’s nuclear supply chain. The PBMR project will be transferred from Eskom to the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA). NECSA will be expected to demonstrate the technology and prove its competitiveness relative to other SMRs currently under development globally.

Koeberg and Thyspunt have been earmarked as strategic sites for advancing South Africa’s nuclear development. Koeberg, home to the country’s only commercial nuclear power station, offers a well-established foundation with existing infrastructure, skilled personnel, and regulatory frameworks. Its expansion, with unit 2 recently granted a 20-year licence extension, is expected to be both cost-effective and logistically feasible, leveraging current transmission networks and safety systems.

By contrast, Thyspunt has been identified as a greenfield site for future nuclear development. While it will require significant infrastructure investment, this development promises to unlock new industrial corridors and job creation opportunities.

Both sites are pivotal to achieving the 10,000 MW nuclear target, offering the physical capacity and strategic positioning essential for a large-scale nuclear rollout.

The plan allocates 5,200 MW of new nuclear capacity by 2039, with potential expansion of up to 10,000 MW, subject to the outcomes of the Nuclear Industrialisation Plan (the Nuclear Plan). This targeted capacity is intended to replace aging coal-fired plants and provide clean baseload power to complement intermittent renewables like solar and wind.

A panel will be convened to design South Africa’s nuclear strategy, the Nuclear Plan, which includes possibly reviving the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) project, a once world-leading small modular reactor (SMR) initiative that was shelved in 2010 after more than R10 billion had been invested in the project.

The Nuclear Plan will also determine the minimum viable nuclear capacity – targeting up to 10,000 MW – required to achieve economies of scale across the entire nuclear fuel cycle, from uranium mining and enrichment to fuel fabrication, reactor operation, and waste management. The Nuclear Plan looks to localise and domesticate key components of the nuclear value chain to reduce reliance on imports and stimulate local industry.

The Minister of Electricity and Energy asserts that nuclear is essential to providing reliable baseload power when renewable sources are offline.
