Ramos-Horta also mentioned that Timor-Leste is ready to finance the LNG plant independently, showcasing its commitment to a sustainable and thriving energy future.
Not a hope in hell, they would bankrupt themselves, so it means with other partners.
(China/Japan other OZ companies, anyone other than Sunrise JV Partners )
As its been forever, we still await someone from the other side (not TL) to make a statement, with commitment, to build the facilities at Natarbora, the roads, highways , etc , etc , all built, Beaco never was and now replaced by Natarbora.
TL pm/pres and ministers have said many, many things over the past two decades, many becoming , drips off the lips and porkies, we still need to see , the other side enter with plans to finance and build, for the locals, since 2002 , its all coming to a soon to be build onshore facility, they have spent fortunes on without someone joining the party. Many billions spent on gearing up for Metinaro and Beaco, now both dead in the water, next up Natarbora complex, 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Lets hope, they get past the roads and ports, this time.........
