RE: Harrier-1 Back on?22 Mar 2021 15:49
Hi Moneyhawk
I did notice that statement. However that statement along with
"88 Energy has entered into a share subscription agreement (the "Subscription") with ELKO International LLC ("ELKO"), one of the major contractors for the current drilling operations. Under the agreement ELKO has subscribed 360,000,000 new Ordinary Shares at $0.018 (the "Subscription Shares"), raising gross proceeds of $6.48 million at a 225% premium to the placement undertaken on 12th February 2021. There are no fees associated with the Subscription."
Makes me wonder if they are being rather naughty and trying to make things look much better than they are.
To expand on what I mean it's the 225% premium makes it look like ELKO are paying way over the odds for their 3,600,000 shares when in actual fact they are getting a decent discount of more than 20%
The premium of 225% is based on the share price on the 12th of February 2021 and although a truthful statement is totally irrelevant. The only price that is relevant is Fridays closing price which was 1.1p (ELKO are paying .85p according to my calculation)
Having said that I still think that ELKO's investment is an extremely positive sign.
