Calm down Got real. Shorn was only commenting on what was said by Leon in the interview. We are well aware that this is a growth stock currently. At some point, however it will pay dividends, which will be welcomed by some people. I'm an old fella and I don't personally need income but it is a useful way of getting some return which can be invested elsewhere, should I desire, without having to sell the shares I currently hold.
We are all here to make money, in whatever form that takes!!
Thanks Welloilbeefooked
Shorn - Re your statement
" I like that interview - planned growth on different fronts & dividends in 2 years - wonder what my 3m shares will bring ?"
Leon actually said they won't be paying dividends in 2 years 11 mins into the interview.
Sorry, mate! It would have been nice though.
It was a really good interview and will worth a listen. It's only 17 minutes.
Onwards and upwards!!
Can't see us getting any update before the end of this week. I suspect the delay is to allow them to include January figures too. However, I am really hoping for future projections for at least production numbers if not earnings. Hopefully that would get the SP moving in the right direction and bring it closer to where, IMO, it should be.
Great news Suzi!
Any chance of getting the share price up to £4.40 so that I can recover my losses on the shares I bought when the old management were in charge, please?
Only kidding. Since I topped up under your reign I only need 80p lol
Keep up the good work! Your a star!
Good post sharegar.
I would question one of your associations, though. I believe that the "Standalone Business Unit" will be a unit within JLP which will operate as a profit or more likely cost centre reporting directly to the board. Don't see it as a separate company at all, that, to me, would be rather messy.
Exciting times ahead. Gla

I think you are being a bit hard on Mr Bird. As "whosaidthis" pointed out you can't just compare share price without stating number of shares in issue. Also don't understand where you get an sp of 10p for xtr. Me Bird took over the reigns in August 2016, when the SP was 3.65p according to the LSE charts.
In addition I note that you have conveniently omitted to mention his companies that have done rather well. For example JLP who's share price and more importantly, market value, has increased considerably over the past couple of years but still remains well undervalued by the market.
This suggests a 1 Missing at the front.

Have a look at JLP. Jubilee metals group.Slater investments made a large investment in this company recently. Make the money from extracting the natal from mining waste. Most of their profits come from platinum group metals, currently
However they have been buying up large trailing dumps recently containing cooper and cobalt. Processing of these materials have started this year and are expected to at least equal the profits from platinum.
Definitely worth a bit of your time researching the company. Only you can decide whether it's something that would interest you.
Good luck
I'm with you, Gambler. JLP takes up a much higher percentage of my portfolio than I would normally be comfortable with. Bought in, with a small holding, many years ago and have added considerably over the years. During most of that time I have been heavily in the red! However I have always had confidence that JLP would deliver at some point. Boy was I right! The past two years has been tremendous despite recent falls. Well done Leon, Colin and their teams. And will done Warren Buffet for his advice on patience.
Copper will help this share fly again.
Good luck to all.

An opportunity for those interested too meet the man himself and question him on any of his companies.
Could be interesting
Homey
"Increasing their beneficial interest in the copper projects is non-essential. JLP could have continued developing the copper projects with the original arrangement."
That's like telling a retailer not to buy any more stock until they sell the stock they have.

Interesting article, got real, thanks for that. Explains a lot. Liked your last comment, but I don't expect life to be fair. It seldom is. My earlier comment to MM's was tongue in cheek! They have to make a living too.
