Message from stockbroker: No indication has yet been given as to whether there is expected to be any return to shareholders as a result of administration. We will write to you again if indication from the administrator is given in respect of the likely outcome for shareholders. When IOG went into administration, the message I received simply said my shares would be cancelled.
Apparently it can take up to 12 months...
The numbers just don't add up. The short position at 1.83% is more than 90m shares. Even on the 4th Jan when the share price plunged, just over 67m shares were traded. And since then the daily average has been around 10m. Confused!
Interesting podcast at the bottom of that page worth listening to. "Why Reach is upbeat about online ads despite the big cookie switch-off" https://shows.acast.com/623317507e51370012bc96c3/65b228c1ff93e90017dacfa3

Capital reduction
From the RNS: 'The Company announces that it will in due course be posting a circular to shareholders in connection with a proposed capital reduction of £605.4m. This change will result in £605.4m cancellation of the Company's share premium account and the creation of distributable reserves of the same amount.' Can anyone please explain what this means?
