This is off topic and charting nonsense so if not interested please don’t read on.

If you look at the RSI of gold in the bull run of the 70s it soared - and just stayed there. Charting metrics like RSI became irrelevant.

The story behind the increase in the price of gold and the increase in gold demand took over and the RSI had little impact other than to show how the demand is exceptional. The same thing appears to be happening now

I was a hit behind the curve with GGP - only noticed it when it hit £1bill but as that was on drill results alone so I stayed away. I couldn’t see much upside at that MCAP without production.

As Napthman says OMI has the potential (this year) to replicate what GGP did in this early days.

GGP has of course moved along the Lassonde curve and is a different beast chucking out loads of cash every day. And so OMI and GGP are very different.

But like Napthman says, and as GGP showed the biggest moves in SP are in the exploration stage … albeit with higher risk.

So the potential is there for OMI to clearly outperform GGP considerably this year.

Which you hold depends on your risk-reward appetite and holding both is sensible…

Ultimately the board aren’t even certain - they are prepared to sell if the right offer comes in. Otherwise they are preparing for production.

Ultimately none of us know (not even the BOD) - as none of us know what offer will or won’t come in…

Depends on how you look at it.

I’m sure there’s a statistic where the similar amount of gold will buy you a house as 50 years ago

However house prices have risen massively over 50 years

So it’s really a reflection of fiat losing its value and this devaluing is likely to accelerate

Gold and silver are just finding their real value..

Yeah I always thought BRES was being prepared to be sold.

It’s not looking that way …. unless this is a very crafty attempt to strengthen their had even further. Look we can produce’s without significant CAPEX - come back with a sensible offer.

But yeah my money is now on us not being sold and going into production.

I don’t take anything for granted. This could make you very wealthy. It could go belly up. The secret is to manage the risk. And if it’s not for you - don’t buy (or sell and move on).

The secret is to sell your initial stake on a rise and leave the profit as a free carry…. Preferably go in a bit heavy in the rise so there is a reasonable free carry.

Let’s face it - IF they pull of production this will bag and bag again. And again and again… it’s worth having something in here.
