I agree the physical demand will blow up comex in March

- what we are seeing now is that as the price movements go more and more parabolic the volatility increases. But the price is above $100!!! - is that not fantastic?!

Silver drops back from ATH to $100 and UFO are down 13% to 16p

But the last breakout UFO had (28p) was on drill results and the price of silver was around $40/oz.

- price of silver 150% higher (40 -> 100)

- Price of UFO 75% lower (28 -> 16p)

It’s just all noise and nonsense. Some people are maybe panicking and selling. That’s not the move when there is volatility - sure you may get lucky and buy back cheaper but the opposite can happen and not what I would do when in March we should see the price of silver blow up.

It’s also maybe not a great idea when drilling results are due.

So sit on your hands ignore the noise and wait.

Difference is that the Eliz Hill drilling will culminate in a MRE this year. We are getting to the business end of the journey this year and hopefully production next year. Real tangible points of inflection.

Maybe stick to an S&P tracker and stay way from exploration if this sort of business is not to your liking?

In saying that I still think they will hit end of Jan for the end of Jan. If I’m wrong - meh no big deal.

the interesting question is this

is china weaponising silver? the shanghai price keeps pushing higher and meanwhile the us tries to keep the price down (as the banks are shorting it and have messed up)

we all know the west don’t actually have enough silver if the contracts are stood up for delivery and the cme just hope the paper contracts will role over. whereas in shanghai they probably have the silver (but aren’t exporting so willingly)!!

what happens when the cme contracts are stood for delivery? what happens in march, one of the months the silver stood for delivery is considerably higher (historically). what happens if/when cmex fails to supply the silver?

is china trying to hit the banks that are shorting it by pushing the price up?… is this an attack by china on the cme?

but yeah it’s all very interesting- my bet is the banks shorting silver will not and cannot win….

IF - they manage 4000oz (which is 1/3 of what they were once trumpeting).

IF they manage to hit 4000oz not when. Since August gold production has been less than 1000oz. I’m 6 months.

The drilling and exploration feels like a way to distract from the poor mining ops.

Again - dos the deal not strengthen AIMSL’s chances of walking away with the company once EP makes a mess of it?
