RE: This looks like a bed n isa21 Feb 2019 14:12
Being a high risk stock, I started out buying outside the ISA as well.
This means if it tanks, I can salvage the loss and carry forward to offset capital gains elsewhere.
The really god-like trade would be to
Buy 40m shares at 0.2p for £80k, outside ISA.
Sell 40m shares at 0.05p for £20k, outside ISA, this creates a capital loss of £60k.
Move £20k into the S&S ISA.
Buy 40m shares inside the S&S ISA at 0.05p, for £20k.
You now have £60k worth of loss to offset other gains,
which can be carried forward into future tax years.
If the AXM share price then shoots up to £1, you will have made ~£40million, AND have £60k of loss for offset purposes.
If you were Greek, you would know that even the Gods will get jealous, and arrange a tragic end.
Every day, Taylor Swift will flaunt herself at you, in a see through toga, but you can never catch her, however fast you chase. Yes, it is attempted rape if you do catch her.
