Fatal, I'm fully certain that Star was genuine, and did not intend to mislead you. The reason I believe this is because his posts were several times betrayed by evident lack of understanding around what was being communicated in a rns around, for example, convertible notes, tr-1 notes, and placing discounts, following which he would tried quite hard to cover his mis-understandings. He'd have to be very clever indeed to play such naivety into a con.
Whilst Star could be a big testy (increasingly so, as his losses amounted - which is anther giveaway) it was actually the rampers (some well known, some not) that fooled people on this board by hounding out those (myself included) that provided a reasoned, contrary view.
The real problem, as I'm sure you know and don't need telling, was not Star, it was confirmation bias. Think most of us fall pray to that at one time or another.
