Now you can see why I said tonnes or barrels as everyone uses a different conversion factor. Some even use beer barrels!

Much easier if you go for tonnes or m3 as that is what OGA give the results as.

Makes you wonder if the BoD actually read every word prepared by the contractors when putting together the various elements of the Planning Application. The case officer certainly does read them or uses searches on documents using key words which is what I would do if I had the job.

Even I can work out what the flow rate will average over August and September. It will be between 100 and 130 bopd of oil for those months. My guess about 120 bopd for August.

Just checked back and on the Thursday and Friday before the last meeting the SP got to 0.38-0.39p maximum and there were 11bn shares in issue then.

p.s. The Vice-Chairman who voted against it last time is not due to attend, but Tim Evans, a Tory councillor is attending in his place. Tim Evans has a history of supporting tough applications.

If all those who had made such a big fuss about this had done any research they would have realised that Mr Edward Hawkins is not on the Planning Committee anymore.

No surprise it is recommended but going to be a long meeting imo if they debate every condition. Unlike Parliament the Councillors do not have to follow a party line and vote as they choose. You have to feel sorry for the Planning Officer though trying to keep the old folks in line.

With SS unable to announce what is going to happen with HH-1, HH-2Z, dual completion of HH-1, HH-1Z or HH-2-HH-6 and a re-injection well does it really matter? It is at least 7 weeks since they produced any oil.

IGas reported in October 2020 that it would seek to extend the duration of the planning permission at its shale gas site at Springs Road, Misson. Details

IGas/Ince Marshes, Cheshire
IGas submitted a scoping request in October 2017 to drill and frack two shale gas wells at an already drilled site at Protos (formerly known as Ince Resource Recovery Park). The existing well would be reinstated and used to monitor drilling and testing the two new wells. Application to establish and construct a site compound and drill a single vertical well for appraisal and production of oil. Dorset County Council extended the decision deadline to 28 January 2021.

Plans published and consultation completed for vertical and horizontal well at land to north east of New Barn Business Park, Sandown Road, Arreton, Newport, Isle Of Wight PO30 3BT. In October 2020, UKOG moved the proposed entrance for the site. A new consultation is expected. Details

Surrey County Council refused planning permission for a vertical and sidetrack well near the village of Dunsfold.

1 trade of 0.4p on the day. Not sure about previous days.

It is the High Court Queen’s Bench Division (Planning Liaison Judge) on his own. If he is not capable of making a decision I don't know who is considering what the case is.

Two environmental campaigners accused of climbing the rig at an oil site in Surrey appeared in court today.

Alistair Sandell and Lindsay Parkin, both fathers and members of Extinction Rebellion, were charged with aggravated trespass at the Horse Hill oil site near Gatwick Airport.
It was alleged they occupied the rig on 10 October 2020 in a protest about extraction of fossil fuels at the site.
Mr Sandell, 56, a horticulturalist from Uckfield, pleaded guilty during a hearing at Staines Magistrates Court. He was fined £360.
Mr Parkin, 50, a management consultant from Brighton, had previously pleaded not guilty. He attended a pre-trial hearing at the same court.
