I seriously hope that MB is at that meeting and not left it to the local directors. I would also hope that he will stress that although we are an oil company and our first aim is to discover and exploit oil we are also looking at renewables and that more to the point for this meeting we would be looking to leave the land at the end in either much the same way we found it or more to the point in the way would expect to have found it.
Like almost everyone on here i make no bones i am here to make a profit on my shares but at the same time i do not want to the land we are exploring / exploiting left looking like a disused waste site and i would sincerely hope that all members on this board would not want that. I would hope that this is stressed very strongly.

I am getting concerned we are getting a head of ourselves on this BB. Somehow we are debating SP and where it is going almost based on an All dancing all Singing RNS. IMO that is very unlikely to happen even the perfect RNS will have the odd blemish which will be picked up by some people but seen through very quickly. What worries me is what happens to share price if we get half an RNS so to speak. ie Either DQE come on board with two wells and no exploration or they come on board with one well and help with exploration in other words they come in but only by dipping their toes in the water. What happens with the hype and over expectation the last thing we need is by over hyping we see this share drop back unnecessarily so just beware of what may come. However i remain hopeful for the whole thing otherwise what are dreams for.

Personally i think so yes. they turned down unilever who were not that far short so obviously they think the growth potential in the split where the separate parts is greater than the whole. Plus all the drug approvals that have been going through it is like someone has let the cork out of the bottle or knows it is about to come out.

I suppose everyones definition of early Q2 is different. To me it is relatively simple
April is early Q2
May is middle Q2
June is Q2
As much as i would like to hurry this along in this particular case time is moving very slowly i am just hoping that we do get an up date this month and not early middle month ie May. The share price is starting to shrink back a bit but until i am certain i am not putting any more in.

I am fairly new with this share although must admit i should have sold at time the unilever bid was rejected and then bought back in any way c'east la vie. I was wondering if the timing of the share split for mid year was because of all these various approvals or in line for approval with the FDA. There has probably been a backlog of drug approvals around the world and they were waiting to get these through to maximise effect of the split.

How many oil producers build their own donkeys. I would have thought they would buy or rent in the donkeys from an outside source so why cannot we.

This is going come over as a negative post but is just meant as a warning. I have learnt from at least two failed outings that fully funded only means fully funded on their definition of fully funded and not necessarily on our definition. In one case it meant fully funded until the drill bit hit a bit of rock. I ask you what the hell did they expect to hit two hundred feet below the sea surface. And in another it meant until they had to LWD the find but then out came the begging bowls so when i bought into this share at 700m shares I had worked on principal that it would be diluted to a billion shares and calculations worked on that so on that basis i have 100m to spare. Let us hope the begging bowl does not come out again.

Personally i am not bothered about where MB is now or next week the only thing that matters to me is that MB is in the right place at the right time if he is not then we really have issues that we as shareholders and investors would need to sort out. The argument is he should be in Mongolia trying to push the government forward but i doubt he speaks the language and he already has two directors who are Mongolian on the board as we know from the presentation. I think the odd infiltration at strategic moments would be far more effective than in there all the time. So let us see when this RNS comes out. I am expecting something reasonably good because of the delay. If DQE talks had broken down and we were going our own way i would have expected an update some time ago. Anyway that is my logic.

I think a drop in SP would be short term because of the level of expectation that has been put on it. It would not be a drop back to 3.5p unless quite frankly the RNS comes up with a complete blank for this year but that is the complete downside. The upside is the exploration bit hits the jackpot then all bets are off as to what this SP hits. Personally i view all the aim shares as a 1p slot machine. You win you lose so i never gamble more than i can afford to lose. I do not classify these shares as an investment at any point. So at some point i will completely de-risk and then i will make my next move out after that and then i will review what is left and the prospects going forward. But my main investments are all elsewhere.

I think we are starting to see a change in profile of the investors in this company. I think the weekly in and out traders working the margins or percentages each week are starting to drop off the picture and we are starting to get the people who are looking to invest in the longer term but do not have huge pockets. These people are coming in now and they like ourselves will all have their own idea as to what they need out of this share and hoping for what it will give them. They will have their exit price and at that point the really big boys who see this being a good dividend yield in time will start to come in. Please don't me wrong the dividend is not going to come next week and probably not next year but when it does come it will be something akin to the current share price now ie about 4-5p per share possibly which would mean a very rapid re-rate of share price but that is a long way down the line and a lot of oil needs to flow to reach it.
Personally i think this share in the short term ie by end of May or so will be at 4-6 multiple of current price assuming we get an RNS that is good (a disappointing one could well see a short term fall in price until everyone manages to weigh up the various options again and re-calibrate their expectations). I think at this point the SP will settle down for a bit for those investors on here who came in at around 3.5 - 4p average this will be a decent mark up and a chance to completely de-risk and still carry a lot of shares forward. How long it stays at this level will depend on how quickly these shares get snapped up by the bigger players who may want to come in especially if we get an RNS with DQE on board.
So in summary i am hoping for 18-22p by end of May around 25-27.5p by end September and then around end of May next year I would hope for 35p. Anything over that would be a nice cherry on the cake and i am expecting the cherry on the cake. GLA

There is a million and a 750k share transactions showing but unknown at 4.5 and 4.2p I am assuming these are big ones that were looking to buy this morning hence the fairly cheep price and why some people on here could not buy for love nor money. I was hoping for 5p over weekend but good consolidation is fine news next week touch wood.

Really do not think selling at this time with intention of buying back in the last hour will work. I can not see how selling now would guarantee you would get the shares back later on this afternoon. If you can afford to sit tight.

Today is the end of the tax year so a lot of this maybe off loading now to buy back into the new ISA tomorrow. tomorrow should say a lot though if i am right.

Can someone remind me as i beginning to lose the thread here. As i understand we have looked into all avenue re production and may already have chosen one when DQE came in with a counter offer. Having received that we then asked DQE if they would interested in quoting for some other work at the same time and we were waiting on DQE to come back to us. I think that was the gist of the presentation does anyone know if DQE have come back or are we still between cup and lip. I am hoping that DQE and Matd have sat down around a table and have at least got the essence of a deal and that this may even be with the lawyers to dot the i's and cross the t's/ This may take some time but if we have not got a general agreement in principle by now we should be seriously considering our other options and somehow keep them alive. We do not want or need a situation where by we try to keep one option alive only to see it flounder and we miss the boat on any others. that would not be too clever.

Now i am waiting for the RNS and have been with baited breath for some days now but no sign of it. But then i thought oh no please don't. Please don't put an RNS out on Friday morning it would be far better on the Monday 4th April and not Friday 1st April i am just not sure what the market would make of an RNS on April fools day.

Does anyone think this rumour of buy is true or is it just a pump and dump exercise. Any thoughts.

I know it is what they do but i am not certain they would drop everything for a junior oiler with not a great track record if the data which i am assuming had been sent to them had peaked their interest. I am sure their time and rigs are wanted all round the world so personally i think coming to North slopes of Alaska is indicitive. Time will tell though and yes i have no doubt they are fallible as well. Let us just hope they are not in this case.

Look i am no expert but
1) I do not believe Schlumberger have gone all the way to darkest coldest Alaska just to make up the numbers.
2) I do not believe we would have called in Schlumberger (who definitely are not the cheapest) if we did not think we had found something reasonably substantial. If it was a small find you would get a small firm in and try do this on the QT.
Personally i think this is going to be quite a week coming up. I believe that if there is a way Schlumberger will find. They have that reputation. GLA
