"Toe the line" The most likely origin of the term goes back to the wooden decked ships of the Royal Navy during the late 17th or early 18th century. Barefooted seamen had to stand at attention for inspection and had to line up on deck along the seams of the wooden planks, hence to "toe the line".
As many of you know I am a significant (for me anyway) long term shareholder, and I have never been invited to one of these events.
Does this give me a problem - absolutely not.
Through AGM attendance I know the vast majority of the people who do attend, and have absolute confidence in them to report back accurately on the content of the day.
Thanks to you all for your time and effort on our behalf.

Or even pretty excited!
No need to be sorry for those who started investing 15 years ago.
We are petty excited too!

Sorry for the typos - got over excited - can anyone blame me!
Well that's a relief.
Be able to have a lie in tomorrow.
GLA shipmates - we'll be sailing again soon.
Well that's arelief.
Be able to have a lie in tomorrwow.
GLA shipmates - we'll be sailing again soon!
Now I'm not technical but it feels to me that we've just discovered the Holy Grail. No wonder Jason was so relaxed and happy at the AGM.

2p sounds SO much better on the way up than the way down.
But it sounds good!
Sorry I couldn't make it this year - first one I've missed since 2015. Thanks for all the feedback from attendees.
My overall conclusion - It feels as if we have a bit of excitement building!
My birthday is December 12th, so what about a fantastic birthday present Jason.
I could barely look this morning when the RNS notification flashed up on my phone - Quadrise PLC Morocco Project Update - same title as the last 5 RNSs on the subject. Surely, if it had been successful it would have said so in the title. Then I read the first paragraph looking for the "we are pleased" phrase - nothing. I was resigned to another huge disappointment.
And then it hit me "Quadrise is now pleased to announce that the industrial demonstration test of MSAR® and bioMSAR? fuels at the client's site in Morocco (the "Trial") has been successfully completed in accordance with the performance criteria of the agreement announced by the Company on 13 June 2022."
Joy oh joy, we've only gone and smashed it!!
Fantastic news and huge congratulations to Jason and the team.

I have never understood why people who are not happy with their investment in a company just don't sell up and move on - rather than hanging around and bad mouthing the directors. You seem to adopt exactly the same strategy with Predator Oil. I have met a lot of LTH on this board and I wouldn't describe any of them as rampers. You couldn't get a more balanced and informed view than Dustofnations and many other contributors to the forum. We are all fully aware of the risks of this investment, but constant negative posting does not help anyone. Filtered.
1. The SP was only 1.2p four weeks ago so raising at 1.25 is not that bad a deal.
2. The Bod raised the money in complete secrecy - no leaks.
3. If all the 3.3 m had been raised from external sources we would all have been complaining that we had not been able to participate.
So, not a happy bunny but will be taking up my full allocation.
This was from September last year. "The Company continues to expand across all divisions with record H1 half-year sales and expectations of £18m for the full year. Demand for Modern Water monitoring and membrane solutions grew, not least because of the impact of climate change and a severe global drought. Order values have moved from £50k to £100k equipment sales in 2020 to now include multiple £1m+ solutions in Middle East, North Africa, China and South Asia and the recent £2.4m project on the Savannah River in Georgia, USA. The Company has a substantial order book of £8.87m for H2 supply and expects to continue its year-on-year history of revenues weighted in H2 over H1 since 2018".
Shocking...........................
Agree Vince. As Andy Dufresne said to Red "if you've come this far , maybe you're willing to come a little further".
