How much would be fair value for a fund to acquire, maybe £1.5B?

1.5bn would be roughly double todays mcap, which would be £2.40, less than a lot of people and directors bought in at, so it likely would be rejected. poss 2.5bn.

The Oxfordshire-based company, which is rolling out full-fibre internet connections across the UK, will start outsourcing its network build in a bid to conserve cash.

I think it will gradually rise from here, the TU showed that they have a sustained increase in every market and are forward looking into the school bus routes and reneg of those contracts based on higher prices.
With that reassurance, you may see more large II jumping in.
