Got plenty of upsides, 5p div on these prices!

anyone topping up? im half tempted, but really, how low will this go?
if an offer comes, even doubling the price its still cheap.

with all the world turmoil and oil prices down, unless we get news sharpish, this is heading towards the 52 week low. was hopeful there would be RNS this morning.

now high 120's - how low can we go.... already been a rough ride, looks like its about to get even rougher.

Ofcom said its consultation into the new wholesale price plan, for telecom providers such as Sky, TalkTalk and Vodafone, closed on March 4.

It had planned to unveil a decision on the consultation by the end of the month but said it will take around two months longer than previously planned.

Thats the way I see it as well, but not a hugely seasoned investor, so dont know for sure.
We've seen 400k shares dump this 7-8-9p, so once they have to bu ythem back, as you said, on low volumes it will shoot up. Unless they are all colluding, it seems like a game of chicken, make some decent cash, but buy them all back before the other 2 so you dont get caught out.
I believe thats what happened to GME and the like, the shorters rushed to close their positions, but tonnes of people weren't selling or had their sell price set to something stupidly high. The shorters had no choice but to buy them all back at these high prices as the liquidity was so small that it caused a squeeze

again, just what i've read/learned, dont know for sure.

As someone else said, this is a year round cash generative business, they have good seasons and quieter seasons, Jan and Feb, but they still open and still bring in the cash.
Yes they have high debt and not much cash, but they have expanded their business exposure with Peach, it will be a long churn to get back to profitability but Im confident it will get there, especially from these prices.

ex div day, was always going to fall by at least 4p. 9p seems excessive tho, bought this as a short term trade after it fell due to results expecting a 3-6 mont return..... then it fell, and fell, and fell.

Didn't jump when there was potential for it to be called off tho did it? Always 1 step forward, 2 steps back with NEX and the UK markets.

Thats what I hate most about the UK share market, the disparity between the US and UK, we always get dragged down with them, and then they bounce and it takes up weeks to recover. Holding LT here, but I'll be glad when I see a decent (imo) profit and can get out.

Looks like the markets are hammered as the credit suisse issue is raising concerns about EU banks. read on another board they were down 20% and now suspended.

HL is the same in their 'news' got Liberium cut mentioned everywhere, but nothing about the peel hunt upgrade.
