It was caused by a trump advisor during an interview with cnbc who responded to 'will trump pause tariffs' with 'ye.... you know, he'll do what he will do'

they took the 'ye' as a stuttered 'yes' and then reported that there will be pauses.

He's been doing it for weeks now, ever since he started talk of tariffs, look what he did with canada and mexico. stated it, back tracked, stated something new, back tracked, then settled. this is just the latest.

there is risk here, could just be a rumour, in which case tomorrow and weds we may see further drops. but if its not a rumour and leaks outside uk trading hours, these are going to open high.

Vusa went from 70.50 this morning to 77.15 just now, heading back down now.

Everything moved up 1500-1520, now on its way back down again. a heck of a dead cat bounce if you timed it correctly.
