GP14 I already asked him on here a few days ago what his definition of I & S was and wonder if he cometh on here incognito. Alas no enlightenment forthcoming. I hope he is at the rudder with the wind behind running with the boom boom out singing we will find out soon when the boat comes in. Should be plain sailing although better not to expect pirates doubloon but then end up with serendipity. A.P. - Ambiguously Punctual.
G--k are you sure you have them on your account? - not just an indication of your order . It will be interesting to learn whether any extras are achieved.
I just got a shock when I looked back at my purchases. I could have bet that I first bought about 18 months ago. It was April 2019 at 4.44p. Ha! should have bought the bl - - dy lot!
Imminently was about 3 months ago so we are definitely 3 months nearer that we were then.
Askar Alshinbayev bought 6% of Chariot (announced today)
A.A. announced acquisition of shares in PetroTal Corp
Meridian had nearly 20% of shares in PetroTal in June 2020.
Meridian is based in Hong Kong which is where A.A. registered office lies.
If you really want to get you head into this take a look at this article - I'd be surprised if Askar Alshinbayev can fully understand what he is up to ! -
Surfit - amazing how anyone can earn 750K a year from a Company with no income! We need some lessons on how to do that? -- if you are reading these posts A.P. how do you do it? Plus, we, on here, are all waiting for some goodies after a long ride. What is your definition of "imminent" and "shortly" ?
Old H. Something big may have happened and something bigger may be about to happen. 4 years ago the additional gas had not been discovered. Neither did we have the additional licence around Anchois. Neither were we looking at solar and Hydrogen. We are now nearer first gas than 4 years ago. We have several prospective partners trying to do a deal with us. We may have a new licence on shore soon. The Brokers are looking for a sp of 60p +. Lots changes in 4 years.
Whimax I take your point, but it doesn't normally sound good sense to buy a share when it is going down. But going up, especially after some good news and at least 3 brokers expecting a 60p+ value would seem like a better bet. It maybe the IIs are so confident of an eventual large re-rating they don't want to miss the boat?
Good points for Sure ty. They may not have got the best deal without showing they were financially safe. But if these 4 wells cost more than £3m each they'll need another rights issue yet. Maybe to get the licence they also needed to show they could afford to drill. Chicken and egg - need the money to make progress and need to progress to earn the money. So expect an announcement soon after the shareholders meeting - is it 3rd August which will accept the placing and they know how much comes in from the offer.
If the sp moves upwards shortly it will probably be because of a positive announcement. But why would there be a placing and rights at 14p if the sp was expected to move skywards? You would make the announcement and then do the placing. That didn't happen but we do expect good news soon. The only explanation I can see is let the sp drift and then look after our mates with a cheapo before announcing good news.
RE: Reasons for the placing and shareholder´s dilution11 Jul 2023 23:05
Fernan10 - A.P. has 9% of the Company which currently values his shares at about £12m. Firstly it will take a large number of years to earn that in Salary and bonuses and if you want to add to that some more free or cheap shares, they will not be so great if the sp stays low. So it is in his interest to have a higher value on the shares which then also gives more value to other shareholders. Secondly, I am sure he would be over the moon to see the shares reach £1 or so which could increase his value to around £90m by which time he will benefit from dividends. I think he will be quite keen to have these shares motor upwards even more than us.
I bought some more at the ridiculously low price of 14.3p today.
Whimax - Star1 may have it right. Who is the buyer of the 10%? Could have done this at 17p or even 20p months ago but looking after your mates at 14p was more attractive. Especially if your mates are even yourself? 9% plus 10% becomes a much stronger position.
NSAI is a premier firm of independent geological and petroleum engineering consultants providing independent reserves reports and services to the worldwide oil & gas industry..... Based in Dallas, Texas I think. Interesting such a firm in Dallas has got involved. Everything we see indicates a valuable asset in Anchois ----- - - - - apart from the share price! I wonder how long ago NSAI completed their assessment Jimmy?
They appear to have done a presentation on Chariot as long ago as June 2019 when Larry Bottomley was CEO ?? when they quoted $8.50 to $9 /mcf :--
I hope this isn't going to go on and on for years and years while the shareholders empty their pockets to pay the salaries of the BOD ?? or Is something going to happen soon?
