Eurasia's office in Japan -22 Oct 2021 14:11
It might not be what you might expect to find!
In the RNS of 09/04/21, it states -
Eurasia Mining Plc
Director Appointment
Eurasia Mining Plc ("Eurasia" or the "Company"), the palladium, platinum, rhodium, iridium and gold producing company, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Tamerlan Abdikeev as a non-executive Director of the Company and the head of Eurasia's office in Japan ("Eurasia Japan").
About Tamerlan Abdikeev
Tamerlan holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and Modern Japanese Studies from Oxford University. Tamerlan has held various positions in the financial industry in Asia and Europe. He was in charge of corporate planning at the State Street Bank and business development director at United Investments Japan. In 2005 Tamerlan joined PIMCO, a global investment management firm with more than US$2.21 trillion in assets, as part of the business management function across the Asia Pacific (China, Singapore, Australia) and established the company's Hong Kong office in 2006. Later he relocated to PIMCO Europe in Munich, assuming responsibility for regional business development covering Russia, CIS and Eastern European markets. After returning to Tokyo in 2010 Tamerlan founded INVERO Advisors, an investment, strategy consultancy and M&A boutique focusing on private equity, project finance, global strategy, business development and cross-border M&A.
From the RNS it clearly states "Eurasia's office in Japan ("Eurasia Japan")"
Googling "Eurasia Japan" brings:-
'Eurasia Japan Co. Ltd - Supplier of Commodity - SANITARY TOWELS, TAMPONS, NAPKINS, AND DIAPERS'
https://panjiva.com/Eurasia-Japan-Co-Ltd/62213174
Obviously not that company then :-)
Then there is 'Eurasia Group' -

Reading the RNS, we all thought that Eurasia Mining had an ACTUAL new office in Japan!
Just maybe they don't, and it was another poorly worded RNS,
Just maybe the new non - exec director Tamerlan Abdikeev, is just that,
And still has his day job back in Japan acting as advisors, in investment strategy consultancy and M&A boutique focusing on private equity, project finance, global strategy, business development and cross-border M&A.
He would be a fantastic contact to have connections with if he is still at the day job!
Just my musings and straw clutching, but as I can't find an actual EUA Japan office, I just wonder if the above RNS, when it states "Eurasia's office in Japan" and then goes on to highlight ("Eurasia Japan")
They could be saying NOT EUAs office in Japan, BUT, Eurasia's (as in another group) office in Japan "Eurasia Japan"
Just my thoughts, but great to have Tamerlan Abdikeev on board as a Non-executive Director!
He certainly has connections in the right place :-)
