Anyone's guess - profit taking? fears of Brazil variant? EU incompetence in vaccine roll-out.. If it falls below 430p I will top up. While I monitor it, I try not to get too obsessed with the daily price. The long-term trend here, be upwards, particularly as UK has been included in the EU green-pass scheme.
My gut feel is this will fall another 5-10% before recovering strongly as we head into summer. I only have a small holding here.
I missed out on this surge - gutted. I bottled it, assumed Boris Johnson's statement had been priced in. Hoping the hype will die down and it will fall back a bit to get back in as I think sub 500 could be possible in the next few weeks. Should have listened to ANAPA and not all the derampers.
"Tui has traded around 1200 to 1800p just couple of years ago (2018-19)" - This doesn't take into account the adjusted price of shares with the extra RI in circulation. Plus the company is still hemorrhaging money and has a lot more debt. However, it seems we are finally coming out of the pandemic so there is a lot to be made here.
Strange share this one, get that its ex-dividend day today so demand will be low, but the size of the fall seems exaggerated given the news about oil inventories, oil prices, the freeze in Texas, a huge US stimulus due, air travel close to being resumed, need I go on. Sold a couple of days ago at a modest profit, maybe it's time to get back in.
