IAG didnt go in for the second round on an RI and you think this is bad news? Im glad you are saying all these things as the one common trend I follow is you getting it wrong.

If you think that SP will go below 140p (back to peak delta variant days and lockdown) with the us opening, travel rebounding, cases retreating, oil price falling, good news around the corner, you are completely delusional!

BB also worth mentioning after seriously loading up at the 140p mark, I dont think you can compare your situation to mine buying an intra day trade at 169p.....I will be a long term holder an investor....

Hexam, yes there are a lot of variables including mix, additional routes, pricing etc. However flying 53% of 2019 schedule in October considering they were adamant that they were not going to fly unprofitable routes bodes well. Lets see, it might be a stretch. Forward bookings to the US will be also be key, which judging by the prices they are charging, looks positive. Cannot be sure as they are very reserved and dont give much away, even good news.

Based on the traffic flows versus 2019, I would be confident IAG will hit the 45% target of capacity versus 2019. The bookings at higher prices to the US also point to more demand versus supply, which in turn will be more profitable as more revenue versus cost. I would be great to hear thoughts on this as all i have heard day after day for the past few months devoid of fact is RI, end is now, COP 26, the list goes on.....

RickyDS timing was wrong, you bought during the summer, just as the Delta variant was starting to kick off. The SP will go back to 200p if variants stay away and the price of oil recedes, which they ironically seem to be working on at COP 26.

Here is some good information for you BB, as of the 27th of October, there are 53% the number of flights with BA as on the same day in 2019, that was 469 flights. The UK is also at 63% of pre covid levels, driven by easyjet short haul to France. The US has not even opened yet.
BB you can continue rabbiting on about volcanoes in the canaries, fictitious ri's and Cop 26, i just hope people actually don't listen to you......

Predictions based on facts on how Q3 might go, capacity insights, oil price futures etc.... all we get is dopes talking about volcanoes, cop 26 etc... complete irrelevance....
