Sundezena, I am a holder but if there are thousands of flights being cancelled, how can you possible think that SP will fly before xmas? I think a little realism is needed here. Also, you only reappear after the SP goes up, are you for real?

The more I read about this, it is only a matter of days until the SP flies. I wouldn't be surprised if it was tomorrow. The politicians are only looking to save face at this point. Its glaringly obvious that this is the natural way a serious virus fizzles out and becomes nothing more than a common cold, Spanish Flu example. This is the beginning of the end of covid in my opinion. It just annoys me that I didn't see this all coming and I could buy large now.

Strange really as there are a lot of countries out there that require a negative PCR on arrival, Dubai for example, where they have really started recovering well with the Expo, city is jammed.
As I said, short haul will probably suffer more than long haul. I mean if i was going to Barbados for xmas, I certainly would not cancel my whole trip as I have to get another test to come back to the UK....

True Planista, but that has always been the case. You cant travel back if you are infected, there is travel insurance for that. When I flew Emirates to Dubai last week, it was actually included in the price of the flight ticket!

I think a lot of people also tend to forget IAG as a wider group, not just BA. Luckily revenue will continue to pour in for the other airlines. I wouldn't like to be an easyjet holder who are pegged into one market.... the UK.

Short Haul Ryanair and Easyjet will be severely affected because of the cost of this new rule. The cost of testing will be 4 or 5 times the cost of a flight and no guarantee to be back for Xmas! If you’re going away long haul for Xmas, different story. I for one would pay to get out of the madness in the UK.

So strange, really dont know why this SP is so low... planes are flying and people are traveling. There is a myth about a variant that is evading vaccination? It seems to be nowhere near as severe as Delta and actually has the potential to wipe out the Delta variant! SP is lower than November 2020?! Mind is blown....
