Though in the case of GEMD I seem to spend quite a lot of time eagerly waiting my next disappointment.

Will JUST re introduce dividend payments when they announce their result on Thursday March 10 ?

They can't on the one hand say they are confident that they have knocked the business into shape but on the other come out with the usual "it would not be appropriate to recommend recommencing dividend payments " line.

Some might say Ukraine is sovereign nation and should be free to order their own affairs. However when the shoe was on the other foot and Cuba was agreeable to hosting Soviet missiles on USA's doorstep the Americans kicked off. The Ukrainian's would have been better off aiming for some form of negotiated neutrality rather than poking the Russian bear.

If/when NCCL publish their accounts for YE Dec 2021I can't see the auditors being prepared to endorse that NCCL are a 'going concern'

Who would second guess Putin.

It is the case that the Russians have a bee in their bonnet about the Ukraine joining NATO. If they are minded to do anything about it the window of opportunity is small and closing.

If they did make a move then it would a safe bet that all access to the Dnieper river / the Black sea would very quickly come under Russian control. Is this an important transportation route for FXPO ?

HaleSpur as you say - Rome wasn't built in a day. Progress is being made though. Probably BMN are going to have to spend the next 12/24 months on probation while they rebuild credibility eg May 2019 (when I took an interest) they were talking of 'medium term' production 10,000 mtV p.a. Then at production of 3,000 mtV p.a. and they were claiming to be in the lower quartile of the cost curve @ < $18/kgV. Very attractive numbers if only they weren't complete fiction.

- Production marginally down - meh
- Production circa 3,600 mtV - meh
- Production cash cost ~$18 -> ~24 - meh
- Next years production expected to be up %20 but we will have to wait to the back end of the year for evidence - meh
