That was a weird interview from Zak I’m sure I’ve seen other interviews where he got abs understood the SYME model. Then on this call it was like he had a lobotomy And then understood it all again.

However the flashy Italian wins us all back over again like a cheap date!

Ha has snap. I am also in SYME and debating whether the funds go into that or into this. I have a sneaky feeling SYME may pop before this does so that's where I will likely go in the short term with the hope of popping back in here later. That said if this pops before i get that chance then I'll be smiling anyhow.

Yes I think this was worth topping up yesterday. If they can keep the news coming we should do ok.

Either look at this as a tremendous opportunity or sit it out and wait on other news which you would have done as a long term holder anyhow. When this moves it can move very quickly so it can pare the losses pretty fast.

If you bought because of the possibilities of what the licenses in West Africa hold, then whatever is in the ground hasn't changed in the last few weeks. So this could be a massive opportunity to top up but DYOR. The fact that IAMG don't want to walk a way is obviously a bonus if that is the true sentiment.

Brutal huh. Just goes to show what an unsavoury RNS can do. chucking out warrants won't help the short term price as well but i guess better to get more of these out of the way now. Puts some cash in the coffers. I've liquidated some of my other holdings to average down at these prices. Just taken another chunk in. Probably daft but time will tell.

Thanks guys. I got a couple of questions and some observations about how to keep shareholder sentiment. There are companies out there that do an amazing job of keeping the market informed. these guys haven't done bad with their interviews but it might also be helpful to do a Q&A with the PIs am sure their IIs get any time when they need it but often we don't.

I'm not sure they have the resources to go it alone in Senegal. I think if they wanted to it would require a lot more cash. Meaning we would be tapped up for more. As I understand it we are next door to Chesser aren't we? Might be an option there to give them some negotiating power with IAMG. I think though given the size of IAMG they should be the preferred partner as ultimately that's who they want to allow a 70% stake in the business to develop the field and mine it. Leaving them a nice 30% royalty on everything that gets dug out of the ground.

I think that is a good de-risk strategy which will help them fund Cameroon and develop it. This is why I still believe not much has changed. Sure IAMG missed the target and it looks like comms were not great.

1. Either the BOD knew a while ago IAMG had missed it and didn't update the market?
2. Or IAMG never told them until last minute and then they updated us

Neither 1 or 2 is great. Like I say if it was two this could have been avoided with status reports, I would be very surprised if they were not getting these. Definitely one to ask them

Morning guys. Slept on it, I don't think my opinion of the opportunity has changed. In fact what I think has been happening is things have been run quite tight in the company. I would like to know if they have any project management resources on the team. I appreciate the CFO is new to the industry so this trip to site should be good for him. However the company could really benefit from a project management resource and follow a project management methodology. Hence they should be:

1. Putting together plans and timelines with key milestones acting as their deliverables
2. This should be tied into budget and spend, including with their JV partner.
3. Risks (i.e. things that could happen) should be identified and a plan to mitigate should be put in place
4. Issues (i.e. things that have happened) should be tracked and regularly reviewed to resolution
5. Dependencies should also be mapped out. Such as identifying resources equipment to do X,Y,Z

This is not rocket science but it does take discipline and someone who is organised and has the gravitas to lead an initiv e like this to support the BOD.

For instance I'm still astonished they did not appear to know that IAM has missed their Y3 £1m target. An example of a good project management session would link COVID to the possibility that IAM could miss their target - hence that is a risk. Then you mitigate it by either doing something about it in the form of additional resources or accept it and update the stakeholders accordingly.

Anyhow we still have IAMG interested which is a positive. Or the opportunity to bounce them out which probably makes no sense. They should seek compensation but who knows how the JV was signed, it actually pre-dates Tim if I understand correctly.

Smart thing to do would be renegotiate and ensure additional resources make up time on the over spend, market would react favourable to that.

Easy for me to say, well because I've been in situations where projects have derailed and I have worked to get them back on track so I know it can be done. Let's hope they use this to put the house in order.

I reluctantly added due to the price drop when it was 30% down today. I would have preferred not to as I have enough shares but it was an unbelievable chance to bring my average down. I still believe in the company. I think they probably became victim of Big company toying with little company. I would have thought the BOD would have been on top of this. I guess the CFO is new to the industry to maybe a learning curve. It would have actually been better if they had released a video today as opposed to yesterday since they were sitting on the news by that stage.

Like I said in a post yesterday the BOD need to be careful not to erode shareholder trust the drop in share price should be a clear message that they need to get their act together.

It seems to be clear IAMG still want to continue work, last year was rough with COVID etc. The ORR BOD themselves are only getting on the ground for the 1st time since last year but they need to hold IAMG to monthly targets and updates on spend. I am shocked that they let something like that slip through

Usual knee jerk reaction to news. This will probably be down today but not at these levels just grabbed another chunk.

Did anyone notice big Tim has had a shave. I didn't recognise him until he spoke. Takes about 10 years off him. If that isn't a positive sign on results coming then I don't know.

One way to look at this. If the news from the ORR board is not good following some of the background social media and hype from the board then this would be an own goal for the company going forward all credibility would evaporate. I think they are experienced enough to know that.

Cast back to the last speeding ticket from AIM they didn't see any reason to put that out but had to comply with the rules!

Fingers crossed all is well. Hopefully this will be a good week. My SYME just relisted today so hopefully that is a good sign!
