Hey Ex next week should hopefully provide some clarity, like you say. However from a practical sense it makes no sense for a company to block up their warehouse with inventory and not shift it after it has been funded. As I understand the company is free to sell their inventory as they wish. Ultimately what does a funder want with a bunch of inventory and the headache of having to store it somewhere. I'm sure that will happen at some point if a company goes out of business but the risk models and due diligence should be there to minimise something like this happening. This was also the whole idea of using the blockchain ledger to minimise the chances of fraud etc.

I mean at the end of the day we aren't talking about buying a bunch of beta max video recorders from Del Boy & Rodney.

I will be holding and waiting and watching, essentially sitting on my hands for this one. I will only add if it drops to around 0.35p as I think it would warrant the risk based on the other assets it holds. As it sits my average is 1.20 but i have enough shares.

On a positive note the company agreed moving forward with IAMG - IAMG obviously see the value in the ground they are drilling otherwise all could have terminated. That would have been shocking but also very telling if that partnership fell apart. It did not so this tells me we still have something.

Other positive, the back story of Cameroon, this was something brought in by the new management. They also increased the licences in Cameroon early this year. Again this tells me something or at least it reaffirms what I am investing in which is a competent BOD.

I think there is a mix of impatience, nervousness which is driving down the SP this can only be reversed with decent results. This was always a gamble to get. After all it is an exploration company, however I'm putting my faith in the expertise of the BOD to realise what they have and make the most from it.

Greensill was a company that lent money to businesses by lending against the company's inventory and then pushed further and further forward lending against "future goods" which had not yet been made . This created a cycle within companies which was not unlike a "pay day" loans company. This became very addictive to companies and compromised the situation. Ultimately it is not good for a company to have so much debt on their balance sheet.

This is where the SYME model differs. The company sells their inventory and the funders buy it. The inventory stays with the company and they go ahead and fulfil orders as normal exchanging money back to the funder as the inventory gets sold to end consumers. Vastly different from Greensill, however the collapse of Greensill shows a weakness in the inventory financing model due to a lack of regulation and the fact of allowing more and more top up loans. If anyone is invested in Amigo they will know the issues of topping up loans without paying them off and what that has caused.

The advantage of the SYME transaction model is the sales do not impact a company's credit worthiness which can have other affects on securing raw materials etc in the future. Also SYME will act more as middle man facilitating clients and there will likely be more options for funding as the company matures meaning more spread of risk and more due diligence., plus more insurance products.

The final incentive for all parties is since the company keeps their inventory in situ there is also an incentive for the company to sell it to the end client and get it out of their own warehouses otherwise they will not be able to keep producing more stock or will have to spend more money storing additional inventory, which makes no sense!

either way we should see a decent return as time plays out on this one. IAMG had the chance to underspend and walk away they been at these sites for enough years and that hasn't happened that tells me something.

1st mover advantage in Cameroon with the govt seeking to desperately to massively increase mining investment in the country the best way to do that is to remove all barriers to ORR and support them with their work. If they hit a decent strike the rest will follow.

I am not far behind you dude if that makes you feel any better! similar to you I hit the top up button too many times. I don't need the money right now but may do at the end of the year if I don't earn much revenue through the year. Hopefully we are on track to make enough to get by to give this time to rise. I think it is definitely a long term play 18 - 24 months to hit double figures.

I some times go look at the GGP graph were it went from 1.65p to 37.3p between 20 December 2019 - 24 Dec 2020 so it just shows these things can happen if everything falls into place. a move like that would see me settling down in the south of France.

At least with the warrants that is where the pipeline of money comes to fund the adventures. Rather than tapping us. I wouldn't have minded having some of those options sitting in my back pocket. Does anyone know who is actually exercising those? Once we get over 2p and beyond I imagine we will start to see a fair amount of those go through.

good to see my RNS focused crystal ball is working. They obviously wanted to get as much exploratory news out before the summary of results. Interesting that the AGM is in June we should be through a decent amount of news by then.

Happy Sundays all. Interview was more of the same Tim, positive and decent but I think we will struggle to get the momentum back into our SP.

Lets hope sentiment comes back to us next week. It would be great to the SP creeping north of my average price! Got a decent few months head of us before the weather closes in on West Africa and makes life harder.

I suspect as we end the quarter we should hope for some news on the IAMG would be the correct time to get a new agreement in place, should hopefully have been reviewed by the lawyers and perhaps gives Tim a bit more say this time around as I think it was a done deal before he arrived.

I have £6k sitting in SNT and am wondering whether SYME or this. If it falls more probably this. I missed the move on SYME yesterday getting drunk in the pub for St Pats day. As the only Irish person in central Asia (or at least in the pub) it got a bit messy :o)
